Terrible service we felt so unwelcome! We were grieving a loss of our niece and brought food and was told no food or drinks what’s so ever due to the Covid? So how come you couldn’t accommodate us and our family outside with a canopy of some sort? We had to feed our family and guests out f our truck while in the parking lot they were detailing cars! Not to mentioned they closed off one of the two bathrooms for their personal use while we had a line of people trying to use the restroom! I have never felt so uncomfortable in such a sad circumstance. We were told we could bring drinks, but never told anything about any sort of restrictions! I am appalled by the rude woman who kept hovering like a helicopter! NEVER will I use this unprofessional mortuary ever again! We were treated like peasants little do they know I am very well off!

During the most difficult time in our lives, Ralph Rodriguez provided the most professional and caring service. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband did not have to linger in the morgue in the hospital. The thought of that horrified me and he drove to my home late at night to have me sign release papers (which hospital failed to do) and transported my husband to Brown Colonial Mortuary that night. He helped my daughters and I every step along the way with compassion and patience. He was even able to find us a priest to provide services during Holy Week. I was so pleased with the quality of service that I have already prearranged my own funeral. I would highly recommend Brown Colonial Mortuary when the time comes that you need a place that cares about you and your family.

Had two funerals in one month we called for the first time and they said capacity limit is 50 due to covid but you can alternate people as they go or go by groups. Ended up going with a different alternative but for the second funeral called again and told us same thing that the limit is 50 but you can alternate people. The moment the funeral started and the 50 capacity was reached they then decide to tell us you aren’t allowed to alternative people in and out anf had half our guest waiting outside. Majority of the first 50 guest that entered only planned to enter for a little while and leave. As we didn’t know only the first 50 people were going to be allowed to enter the place was half empty an hour in and missing close family members. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE if you want to actually be able to give close family members goodbye to your loved ones. They lie to you on the phone because they know no one will book this place as the capacity is very low and say you can alternate people and moment of ruin your final goodbyes with loved ones.

Was told we had 50 swapable seats but the day of they weren’t allowing to swap so only the 50 initial people can go in or out. Ultimately was lied to about agreed upon deal. I was very disappointed with not being able to see a loved one one last time because of last minute changes.

Ralph was not helpful in many ways. He failed to inform our family that our loved one had been cremated 15 days ago and his excuse was "I was busy, I work 16 hours a day. " When a phone call or a text at most takes 2 minutes. He also provided us with a box that is not accepted at the cemetery and now we have to buy another one.

Special thanks to Paul Carrillo for service above and beyond to our family (John L. McAndrew, DDS) during this difficult Covid time. It was amazing how well everything came together in a very short time. Thank you Paul from all the McAndrew clan!

Truly grateful to Ralph for all his help and guidance during such difficult time. He made sure my brothers services and burial arrangements exceeded our expectations.

Thank you for your help with my father. Your team did an amazing job despite all the limitations this year. Rest in paradise Greg Montiel.
