Bubble U reviews
20Everything is automated, with the exception of the person that hands you your delicious drink. I love the fact that you control the sweetness level.
Cute little boba shop. It’s always clean in here and the drinks are alway well made. The worker was very friendly when I got my drink. That have cute souvenirs for sale and snacks but I’ve only had the drinks.
Order through the SnackPass app to save time waiting in the store.
Everything about this place is self service. I ordered through the touchscreen kiosk and noticed for the first time that "no ice" was an extra $0.30. I usually get "less ice" and there wasn't an extra fee for that. It makes sense to charge extra since they add more drink, but it piqued my interested if other boba shops were doing the same.
The store is standard and small, so I would recommend ordering in advance. I tried the Burn Burn Tea Latte recently and it comes with a dairy creamer on top that's been torched. The tea was prominent but definitely needs a good stir in my opinion. If not for the creamer, the tea isn't that sweet.
One of my go-to drinks is a Mango Tea with Lychee Jelly. So far, I haven't found a tea shop that can trump Sunright Tea Studio. The tea from Bubble U is very sweet and has a stronger lychee flavor than mango flavor.
Parking can be difficult, but if you want a hint, check out the Blossom Plaza. It's only $1 for 2 hours of parking. Don't go stealing my spots now, please. Thanks ;)
I throughly enjoy boba tea, always opting for frozen fruit creations. There is a wonderful place in Illinois, just outside Chicago which has set the bar quite high. The lovely weather in L. A could only be complimented with a boba tea and which led me to Bubble U and it did NOT disappoint.m, I chose a mango milk tea selecting oat milk as the alternative. Using the kiosk to place the order was quick and efficient. This was my first time at this delicious establishment but will absolutely visit again the next time I’m in LA. My drink of choice: oat milk mango smoothie with boba pearls and lychee jelly.
You order at the kiosk and it asks you for tip. You have to press other to not add in tip. It’s a little weird to ask for tip when there’s no human interaction at all. Just a kiosk and my drinks suddenly appearing at the counter.
The matcha strawberry was okay, and my friend’s fruit tea was also okay. Wasn’t that great.
Great boba and drinks. Orders are done over a kiosk on your own or online. Drinks are quick and fresh. Street parking.
Best boba tea I have tried so far; I recommend the green tea! Paid at the kiosk, but had to wait for a while.
I been having boba for over two decades growing up in Irvine. Out of all the boba places I been to even the new shops from Irvine that have lines out the door from open to close this shop in Chinatown has THE best drinks hands down. All my siblings agree! Making these drinks is an art and whoever is making them THANK YOU!
Around Chinatown, this is one of the better spots to get boba. Unfortunately, the hours are all weird and inaccurate. Tried to visit two different days at two different times, but they were closed with no explanation, not even a note on the door. They don't even list their hours on the door, so pretty inconvenient.
Cute store in Chinatown, but it seems dead with no human interaction. You walk in and order with the machines and cannot ask questions since no one is there. It's great that it's high-tech but no customer service.
Not worth the hype of high reviews since my Thai green tea boba was light like water and medium soft boba. Maybe other drinks are good, but I don't think I will make my way to come here again. Price is high, but the experience was low.
Parking is challenging since it's a busy area in Chinatown.
Sooo good! Boba was delicious! Good service, cute place. I had the tiramisu boba, others had black sugar boba, Thai iced tea boba, mango green tea boba. All fantastic. The boba was just right — fresh, sweet but not overly - same with the coffee and teas. Definitely would visit again when in the neighborhood.
It's a good place to get a bobbaa drink if you're walking in China town No parking, tho.
I love the new kiosk system. Put in the order, and your drink is done and ready for you at the counter when you get there.
We ordered Rose Matcha (75% sweetness) and Burn Burn Tea Latte (with boba, regular sweetness). Both are delicious! And their boba is perfect (in my opinion), it’s sweet, soft, and slightly chewy!
Awful drink and super expensive.
Took the train here so didn’t have to worry about parking but if we paid for parking to come here, I would have been mad!
You have to order using their monitor screen at the front (hate that, especially when someone is there at the counter already).
All the drink options did not really stand out to me but it was a warm day so we wanted to get something refreshing. Chose the strawberry drink with crystal boba and it honestly was not very good. The boba was shaped weird but tasted ok. The drink itself was not a good mix and had an odd taste.
It was $9 (I did choose a lactose friendly milk)! Definitely not worth the price.
The decorations in front were cute and there is sufficient seating inside. But I would not come back here nor recommend it.
Out of the 80+ boba places ive been to in LA, bubble you takes the number 1 spot. Their thai tea is infallible. I give them the golden bobo award for their prestigious quality drinks.
Card only, there's no cashier just a tablet and card reader
I asked for my drink blended and she said they don't blend drinks here
My drink tastes like pennies
I couldn't buy because it is only serviced by one machine and it gave me no other option but to provide a US phone number that I don't have.
Edit: 1st of all? Who comes at the customer with that attitude? You just proved my point! Also, you were closed past 12 should I post a picture to embarrass you? Thank you for splendid response.
Extremely rude! They laugh at customers. Never open on time, plus they cancel orders just because they don’t feel like making the order! CANCELLED!
Cool place mostly get the tiramisu ice coffee 4 out 5. Cool they print a pic on the drink. There taro smoothies 4 out 5.
