Buccaneer Park reviews
6They filled in almost all the sand with rocks. It used to be our favorite beach but now it is ridiculous hard just to walk down to the water.
They put rocks all over the beach. Now there are only two small patches of sand. The rocks also block the creek from flowing so now it's fairly stagnant. It kinda sucks. But the kids playground is ok.
Buccaneer Park is a few minutes away from in and out. Great place to eat your burgers and fries. Next to the big blue ocean!
This is my absolute favorite park to go to by myself or with the kids. There are so many things for the kids to play on and a large area for other activities. The ground squirrels will come up and eat out of your hands. The kids loved it when I fed them! There is a creek that runs through the park as well and a little bridge you can go under to the other side where there is a nice beach. At low tide the beach is a decent sized area but at high tide there is little room to put anything unless you put it in/on the rocks. Lots of pretty rocks to find and the waves are spectacular.
Nice place. You have the ocean, park and waterway all in one place. Great place to watch ducks, squirrels, and the occasional urban wildlife.
Buccaneer Beach is a sight to see you've got the beach and across the street a park everyone is very happy bring your dogs
