Budget Car Rental

Shady! Brazen attempt to rip me off. I declined "Personal Accident and Effects" insurance when I picked up my car (have the signed/initialed paperwork showing this). But when I drop off the car, I was charged for three days of insurance.

Excellent customer service at this Hemet location. Caring and efficient, I highly recommend them.

They always find a way to charge more money. They have everything set up so you get charged more than what you were told. It has happened 3 times over the 2 years I have lived in the area.

If you are paying with a debit card, they want your social security number to run your credit. If you get denied, they embarrass you and still after charging you the reservation fee they try to charge the 250 hold on your card as well. And it won't be refunded for up to 10 days.

Avoid.

I'm a local who needed a car for my larger family who came to visit me and this place was great. I'm already a budget customer so I reserved online and everything went super smooth and fast. The car was better than I'd hoped also.

The worst. Zero star if I could.
We had reservation in advance and paid in full.
Less than 12 hours before our reservation and one hour before they closed for the day they left us voice mail that they don't have a car we paid.
First thing in the morning we called and they have absolutely no cars at any 6 locations near us. We needed to get to an airport so we paid extra to rent smaller car from hertz instead. Their service is absolutely the worst I've ever had in my whole life. They told me to keep our conversation professional when they can't even run their business professional.
They shouldn't have car rental business if they don't have cars.

Do not rent from here. I rented a car in August 2022, returned it without damages during business hours and just received a surprise bill months later for damages I did not cause. I will be disputing the claim and reporting this location to the state attorney general.

I had an excellent experience renting a car. Yahya was extremely helpful, polite and professional. Considering he was working alone he was super efficient and the customer service I received from him was the best that I’ve received in my travels here. Yahya took me to the back and showed me which cars were available and let me pick the car I was the most comfortable with. As a traveller from the UK it was very easy to rent from here with no issues at all and the price was the best I found amongst all other rental companies. The car was clean, brand new and in great condition. I highly recommend to book from here and the next time I’m in California I will definitely be back here.

I just rented a Ford Edge from Budget on 3/14/23. The experience was awesome. Yahya that runs the front desk was great! He took me out back. Let me sit in numerous vehicles to find the perfect one for my trip. He was very courteous, nice and professional. I will definitely be using them in the future for my future vehicle needs. Service is fast and cars always very clean and full tank of gas! I have been renting cars here a few times already. The can book fast up front or you can book through the Budget or Avis app. Manager and employees are friendly and helpful. I will only book at this place!
