Buffalo Exchange reviews
16It was my first time there. They gave me a fair trade on my clothes, they had some good stuff and the employees were all really friendly. Im definitely going back
F you'd like to sell items make sure you go to the right person. I have 3 young college adult kids who went through their closet and we loaded up clothes from Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Victoria's Secret, Chubbies, Active - all name brands and lightly used- O'Neil, RVCA, Hurley, Lululemon, Nike, Adidas, Salty Crew, Dark Seas, and concert and sports tees and the guy just skimmed through the pile and said he'd give us $3. Literally 3 dollars. My time and gas was definitely not worth that trip. The place was loaded with eh clothing and definitely not the best customer service. I sold here before and a woman took tons and was very friendly but that certainly wasn't the case today. I personally would not recommend selling or shopping here.
I'm staying away from the rude disrespectful Limey that wants to suppress my First Amendment Right of my freedom of expression I don't go to England and tell an English citizen how they should verbally express themselves Well I don't expect this disrespectful Limey to to that to me in my country If you believe in your First Amendment Right of freedom of expression Then don't do any business with this antiAmerican sleeze I will do business with people that respect the American way
This is a trash please don't come here I'll give you like $2 for something you paid $60 for. Ripoff and scammers. Sell it online instead. This is crazy. 100% Trash &.
I came in with hopes selling good quality clothing! I had brought in clothing from H&M, Calvin Klein, Express, Nautica, Guess, and plus more! None of these clothes had holes, but of course washed! They didn't take anything because in their eyes the fabric was slightly faded, and the high hills had scuffs at the bottom! However, I look at the clothing on the selling floor! I was shocked the clothes they sale are old, very much out dated and far more faded! The shoes where very much worn out and used! But my good quality clothes were not considered! That's ok went to another establishment and received the money for my donation! Will not come here nor will I recommend anyone to come to this establishment ever! Highly disappointing!
My appointment time was 2: 40, but I was late, the clerk told me that because I didn't have an appointment, I needed to wait 15-30 minutes, or make an appointment another day, I drove 50 minutes to come, I chose to wait, I waited 1 Half an hour later, he told me not to accept it today and come back tomorrow, it's rubbish! I wasted an hour and a half of my time, and the service attitude was too bad, especially the skinny female clerk,
Chaotic! Chaotic.funniest part was to watch the manager picking clothes and giving his opinion about what the item should look like as if he was working for The House of Valentino. Enough said, why I gave it a one star.
I exchanged my stuff and shopped around here. Everything is very organized and fun and easy to shop. I brought in a few things to exchange. They only took two peices, a faux snakeskin purse and high waist white linen pants. They didnt take my plaid fanny pack, a cotton, black dress with thin white stripes, and my black leather wallet that was practically new. I have no idea why they didn't take these things. I thought they were in style and in good condition. Otherwise, the service was great and super friendly.
My wife and I paid a visit to the Costa Mesa location in an attempt to sell off some extra clothing that we didn’t want to see under sold at a thrift store. Mostly due to a few antique/vintage pieces from my grandmother I’ve held on too for way too long. That location couldn’t accommodate us (Nor were they very friendly, I lucked out although I didn’t know that then) so they sent us to the Fullerton location. I called and made an appointment for Monday evening. I arrived way too early and had plenty of time to look around. I was promptly greeted by Pixie (They/Them) who boasts an epically flawless style and makeup of their own (I was impressed, but hey I’m a Cis.he/him and like creative and unique) They checked me in and answered my questions. While I browsed I found an awesome furry grinch like jacket that I may return to buy, and they were helpful and encouraging in supporting such an aweful thing. I was unaware that Buffalo Exchange also took other things so I brought a couple vintage non clothing pieces in when Pixie introduced me to Madin (They/Them) as the manager and pro of all things shiny and vintage (Boasting a fun and unique style of their own too!). Madin was informative and HONEST! They could have told me a price, but instead enjoyed the piece and told me due to how rare, hold on to it and take it elsewhere for valuation and information.
I’d go back to the Fullerton location (further and out of my way) just because of the service and conversation…. And the green Grinch like jacket️
My first time going there. Recommended by my Sister & Niece.
All if the Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sage was very nice! She showed me where to find the men's clothing and how to find my size.
Very nice selection/ condition & reasonable prices.
I scored a nice Banana Republic sweater& an almost new Tommy Hilfiger jacket.
I will definitely be going back!
It's alright, way better than the other than than I usually go to. Copped a "Fuct" hoodie and some AF1s for a good price. But other than that, I couldn't find a anything my style. Pretty cool tho, would come back
DONT GO HERE. Biggest waste of time, the employee was only going to take one jacket.said everything else was "too worn". 5 out of the 10 things were brand new. The guy didnt even hardly look, he was just trying to finish up so he could finish his day. Their other store I went to was a lot better. Completely useless.
Great selection, staff was so friendly, helpful, smart and fabulous. Megan was awesome so go check it out!
I went here with my daughter and the woman working the dressing rooms was really rude to us. I’m not usually one to complain and I’m not sure why but it made the shopping experience really awkward for us. Besides that we found some cute clothes and checkout was fine. Also if you don’t bring a bag they charge you $2.50 for one of theirs.
I love going in every so often just to see how customers and staff are dressed. I get inspiration on what I want to sew next. The customers and staff have an eclectic fashion sense. I love it. I still treasure my pink heart-shaped sunglasses I found there 6 years ago. It’s rare finds like that that keep me coming back hoping I’ll score something else unique.
Window display gave a boutique impression come to find out once inside it has some sort of musky smell with tainted used clothes and mask nazis wanting me to wear their provided masks when I had my own on, was asked to leave store. No problem, I was glad to. Never coming back again and felt fooled that I was walking into a boutique rather than a thrift store right in downtown Fullerton. Whats happened to Fullerton? Upon reading reviews guess Im not the only one who thinks their staff has attitude problems with overly overly worn clothes Hope owner re-evaluates his staff.
