I did all you can eat B course, and I love Ji-mul-ruk, and marinated kal-bi! The garlic pork belly was not that great, but their hang-Jung-sal was good! Their side dish such as raddish, rice wrap, and corn cheese was pretty good! I like that side dish order comes one person portion size, otherwise it would be too much to eat when I am doing all you can eat. Their atmosphere is also good, feels like Korean restaurant! I would like to bring my friends over next time!

Best Korean food near San Diego.
Weekday lunches are cheap.
Galbitang is recommended!

Some seriously good Korean food. I didn't do AYCE but their ala carte dishes are some of the best Korean food I've ever had. I do wish they turned up the AC a little s all the BBQing makes the place toasty. I would definitely go back there.

Exceptional service. Calabe provided an amazing experience. The food was superb, and serving size was generous.

Quality has taken a nosedive in the past few months. New management? All the banchans are stale except for Kimchi. Galbitang-once one of my favorite meals in all of San Diego-is a shell of its former self.

Out of all of the Korean BBQ places I've been to, this was probably the worst. There were 6 of us eating there for lunch. One of us never had kbbq before. We ordered off of the "C" menu for lunch, ($30 a person all you can eat). First we ordered beef brisket and balgogi, and then we asked the waitress for rice paper. She said how many, we said 6 because there were 6 of us. Then she replied we can't order that many because there is a limit.

If you go to any other kbbq place with 6 people, shouldn't everyone get a plate of rice paper? She came back and brought out 3 plates of rice paper.we had to share and split the three small plates of rice paper between the 6 of us.we then ran out and had to use the pickled radish as rice paper.

Also, when cooking the meats, the grill splattered oil and started popping near us, splashing us with hot oil.they also never changed our grill after it was really dark and black.

Also, we heard the waiter /hostess yelling at a customer really loudly telling him to back away.we don't know the whole story, but the whole restaurant and every customer seemed threatened and on guard.

Was not a good experience with subpar service.

They never refilled our waters or gave us straws either, with their greasy oily meats. I don't know how they are still in business operating like this.

Tasty Korean restaurant specialized in BBQ. The place is modern and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. All dishes are delicious, portions are quite large.

This is a nice Korean BBQ with traditional Korean foods. Great service. Clean restaurant. Good food. The staff are friendly and attentive. The portions of food are generous. While not the best Korean food I’ve had, it is very good, and I would not hesitate to return.

Kimchi stew was awfully disappointing. It was hard to call it a stew, no flavor, no spice, just a salty greasy mess. Worst kimchi stew I have ever had. Do not trust reveiws that claims this place is authentic.

This is personally my favorite K BBQ spot. My girlfriend and I come here as often as we can afford. I recommend the marinated pork neck and the sliced brisket. Ridiculously delicious. Take care and enjoy.

Fantastic Korean barbecue restaurant. The cost is fairly expensive but the all you can eat options is still the best and only option to go at this restaurant with three price levels offered.

Will NOT allow wheelchairs or service dogs! Tried to seat me alone in a closed off room. Federal and State charges have been filed. Is the Korean princess (waitress) still your EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT THAT SAYS DISABLED PEOPLE OR CERTIFIED SERVICE DOGS HAVE TO EAT IN A CLOSED BAR ALONE THAT IS NOT CONNECTED TO BUGAS DINING ROOM?

The main dishes (Mulnaengmyeon, Bibimnaengmyeon, Gopchangjeongol) are delicious. All 6 side dishes are tasteless and not particularly fresh. It's really tasteless. Waitresses force orders and are too vocal and disrespectful. Not polite. It's an attitude that seems to intimidate customers.
Isn't it good for a restaurant to taste good?
go for those
The food is delicious but it's a pity

Enjoyed it as always. It had been over 3 years since I'd been back and things have changed! They have upgraded options to included a all-you-can-eat option!
There is a $30, $35 and $40 level. The $30 and $40 option per person also includes shrimp along with meat. Not all types of meat are available on these specials, so ask if you care. I didn't try it, but next time we'll take a stab at it. I don't believe booths are available to the all u can eat people also as they screened us upon arrival. But the service quick and friendly and the meat and prawns were tasty.

Parking is hard to find during rush hours and watch out for parking spots that are motel-only (it's right beside it).

The decor is very plain, 90s brown tones and red carpeting with tile, and the tables are semi private.

We always get the beef galbi combo with the tofu stew, and it's absolutely delicious. The stew especially, has some small bits of seafood in it that put it over the top for me. All of the sides (refillable) that come with the main meal are also delicious and we'll put together - there's some pickled, umami, plain, crunchy and sweet offerings so you'll be sure to find something you like.

The service is prompt and courteous and we had no complaints in that department. This is one of our go-to's when we're craving Korean. Give it a try, and it might become yours too!

Delicious Korean BBQ restaurant in San Diego. The restaurant offers regular menus and buffet.

Food was like other BBQ places, but they offered butter on the grill instead of vegetable oil.

A place with good parking space, the buffet price is affordable for what you eat, in my point of view it is a suitable place for 3 people maximum who come with time to taste the food because we were 5 and a little hungry, You can't put a good amount of meat on the grill on the table, you have to wait 5 to 8 minutes for the food to be ready (meat).
I would take it back to that place just on a whim but I wouldn't take many companions at the same time because you can't cater for everyone.
(note, this comment is for the buffet type, but they also have separate dishes).
It is a different experience in terms of cooking, but I am not saving it for future plans in the short term.
