Build-A-Bear Workshop, West Covina CA

The first time I went, I had an amazing time. Made a bear for my daughter and the individual who helped me was awesome. She was very kind, energetic, and explained everything. I went with my mom and she involved her in the process as well.
I went a second time, this time with my daughter, and it was not the same. The girl who helped me seemed like she hated her job. My partner was there and she ignored him and did not involve him in the process. When I tried to put my daughter on the step to fill up the bear, she made a comment on how it needed to be stepped on hard. Obviously, I was going to step on it with my daughter. I know we all have bad days and maybe she was having one, but do not ruin someone else's day. She ruined the experience for my family.

I placed an order for the Hello Kitty 25th Celebration doll on the store's website and placed it for pick up in store. Around an hour later, I received a call from Krista at the store's location letting me know they were actually out of stock in the store but gave me options such as holding off or cancelling the order and told me I could come into the store and she could order one from the store for delivery to my house. I went to the mall and walked into the store. Was fairly empty and as soon as I walked in. Jocelyne was able to help me after I told her about the situation. She helped me with ordering one for delivery to my house as well as with purchasing an accessory in store. Both of the ladies were really kind and helpful in the entire process. Will definitely be coming back!:)

The staff is so friendly and patient with us as first-time customers.will definitely come back to build another bear soon

We visited here because we usually frequent the one at Knott's Berry Farm. We ordered a 25th anniversary edition Darth Vader bear from the online store and took it here to get stuffed. We also bought some accessories for one of the bears and a frog we got for our kids. Staff in both locations were awesome and helpful. Brings the kid out of you!

Took 11 year old girl for her birthday first time she had been there she enjoyed it very much

My boys absolutely LOVED their Build A Bear experience. So many options and add ones, and you get a birth certificate for your stuffed creation. It was slightly busy when we went but the young lady at the store was alone and was able to help everyone in a flash. Jocelyn, you're doing great! Thanks for the fantastic experience

Took my son for his 8th Birthday so he could build a bear. Lol. Never knew about the Count ur Candles thing they have. His bear cost me $8. He was so Happy & Excited. To do this. His friend from school also came w/ us she already had a bear so she just got a new outfit. Build a Bear made his Day even more Special. Thank you

Great store. Everyone who works here is super nice. Only problem I had was they did not accept Apple Pay. So we had to leave our bear there until we came back for it later at night but it killed my grandsons experience.

Always a pleasure to be here! My son got his first build a bear here and he absolutely love the experience and the sound and the heart beat.they didn't have a bear my daughter wanted and they ordered it online for me so I would qualify gorgeous the discount the lady's here are nice polite and extremely helpful. I would 1000% recommend it.

The staff is wonderful. So very amazing and went above and beyond for me. This is my forever build a bear workshop. I cannot thank the staff enough for finding the perfect addition to my bear. The wings are perfect. This store is just, amazing. If this staff ran other store the world would be a nicer place. My bear is perfect and I am so thankful that they helped make it such. You all are wonderful

Had a Great Experience with your the young lady Beautiful hello. Tamara she was very helpful with helping pick clothes for both my Build of Bears. She also got them Dressed & ready. She made me feel welcome here.

I just love the fact that you can build your own bear. I mean for my son was fun and he was happy with his stuffed animal

Love this store. The staff is very helpful. Love my bears. They have many outfits however they didn't have one for Sheriff Deputy sooo I made one.

If I love it here, kids must b crazy for this place. Prepare to spend 45$ on a bear, that's not including clothes n accessories. That could easily turn it into$90/bear with clothes n accessories.
