The food was great. It is a small place that sits on the corner. It has just a few parking spaces, so you will have to park on the street. Has great burritos and service was good.

Terrible! I just ordered on Uber eats. Don't do it, I promise you will regret it. Don't go to the restaurant, you'll regret that too.

A Pasadena staple for generations. In my experience, you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. To top it all off, the staff are wonderful, kind and friendly people. By far my favorite diner in the neighborhood.

NG! No good. The Ross Perot burrito used to be my favorite on the menu. Today the burrito was cold and dry. Very disappointed. Probably be the last time I eat there.

I've gone to burrito express for over 30 years. The food has been consistent and reliable!

Got the chicken enchilada plate. Major disappointment. Tasted like it was made days ago and microwaved, the sauce was so crusty and bitter. Rice was practically white rice with how bland it was. I have no idea how this place is considered a Pasadena favorite, but I guess if you have no taste or no idea what Mexican food should taste like, you’ll enjoy this place.

Went there for couple days for lunch, and we'll the meat there is hard and cold.i had some asada burrito and twice was the meat super hard to chew to means that just means is been sitting there for a while.not worth the expensive price for the food there.

HONESTLY. I had NO IDEA what to expect. All I know is I left extremely happy. The burrito was so GOOD and it was QUICK.how? I dont know. But it was so good

Vic special burrito: I mean it's food there's no real variation in flavors it's almost just blended food in a raw tortilla.old lettuce non melted cheese can red sauce, my favorite part was the big slice of tomato on the side.

Muy magnifico! We went with the classic bean and cheese burrito, and split a Mandarin Jarrito. All was delicious. Their hot sauce has a nice smokiness to it! The outdoor patio area is very pleasant, shaded and cool. Four car parking lot, but plenty of street parking close by.

Their selection and food is excellent! Try the Ross Perot burrito! It has everything, a meat lovers burrito!

Beans and rice in the burrito were good. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito and it was 1/8 of the burrito of just meat. The rest is was bean and rice and I still got charged for the Carne Asada. I won’t be going back plus their salsa is not good it’s mainly tomatoes nothing spicy. I was working 2 mins away I should ate at Jack in the box

I did not enjoy my Pasadena burrito much at all. Tortilla was cold and the meat subpar. On top of that, sometime tasted really sour and off, which I suspect was the avocado that was a bit rancid. This place has been on my list for quite some time to visit considering their history, and I did want to support a smaller local restaurant. But the burrito I had was not good at all and I would not go back.

I was walking around and kind of just randomly stumbled upon this place and decided I'd give it a shot, as I love trying new Mexican places. I'm so glad I did because this is my new favorite place!

The location is super small, but still has a few tables inside and a couple outside, which seemed clean when I visited. Definitely had a hole-in-the-wall vibe, which I love, personally. Employees were masked, which I also appreciated.

The lady behind the counter was so friendly and had such a welcoming demeanor. I told her it was my first time trying the place and she informed me they were known for their beans and their shredded beef, so, of course, I had to try both.

The menu is just big enough, and offers a nice selection of things at very reasonable prices. They also have pre-made burritos that you can buy to-go, which I thought was a very cool idea and a nice plus!

I ordered the bean and cheese burrito, a hard-shell shredded beef taco, and some chips and salsa on the side. The shredded beef was really good {I can't wait to go back and try it in a burrito), but the bean and cheese burrito was the real standout here. DELICIOUS. I absolutely love a good burrito and am always on the hunt for the right experience and I think the search has ended.

Absolutely give this place a shot, if you haven't yet! They also deliver through Doordash, so keep that in mind.

Burritos are great, not too large and not too small. Haven’t had much beyond the Burritos except for the enchiladas with rice and beans. This is a mom and pop shop on it’s second owner if I’m not mistaken.

Very good Mexican food with very good Mexican hot sauce to your liking. Also very fast service swell cashier and workers definitely recommend!

I've been coming here for at least 10-15 years. Some of the most consistently tasty mexican food I've had yet. Whenever Im in town I make sure to stop by here.

The best burritos! Get the JVC burrito vic's special. It will change your life. Come hungry or don't come hungry. Either way you will thank me.
