Love the food always good never got my order wrong and I've been eating there for about 3 years now

Used to be a great place, but over the years the quality became absolute garbage. Just ordered a Diabla shrimp burrito, taste was good as usual, but I had enough liquid come out to literally make a shrimp soup with. Their carnitas used to be fresh and crispy, now it tastes like it was boiled in funky sea water. Their California burritos (what they’re known for) has turned into tomato burritos with the extreme amount of pico de gallo they use in order to save money on Carne Asada (and fries?).

It's just not worth your money anymore. Head down the street towards helix high, and hit up super Oscars (or the other 3 taco shops in a 1 mile radius), all of them are better and worth far more for your hard earned money.

The only reason I gave two stars is because as always, santanas hot sauces are always on point. That's it.

We ordered burritos, they were good and a generous size; only the soda tasted weird, but from there everything was good.

This place is soo good. One of the best Mexican places in La mesa area. Only issue is, I’ve never had issues with their service until recently. There’s a new female worker that works night shifts & she is absolutely rude, very unprofessional. It’s always the same when she’s there. They need to work on who they hire. Everyone else is always polite though, very kind I don’t ever have issues with other workers.

As a vegetarian, I’m always searching for the best refried beans- Burritos Santana delivers!

Went to order a Buenos dias de Carne Asada for breakfast. Left with a Carne asada burrito. Please double check with your customers for order accuracy. Also the meat and burrito was colder than room temperature.

I got a chicken queso mush and it was very good and if you pay cash you get a discount. I will be going back again if I'm in the area highly recommend.

California Burrito passes the test

The food was fresh and definitely made to order. It was the first time we tried them and will be going back. The TJ tacos were just the right size and they didn’t skimp. The kid’s meal for my daughter was more than enough.

Food is okay. There are several of these and there is really no consistency between them. Kitchen is seems to be run down.

Ordered carne asada fries and the carne asada was dry, cold, and had no seasoning. Drove over 10 miles highly disappointed, will never be back.
