Butterfield Bed & Breakfast, Julian CA

Stayed at the Butterfield B&B for four nights and had an exceptional time. Dawn’s breakfast every morning was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with them after breakfast in the comfort of their cozy dining room. The common spaces were well kept and inviting, perfect for board games and a glass of wine. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable and tidy. I will be recommending this place to anyone who comes to Julian! Thank you Dawn and Ed for an amazing stay!

Beautiful quiet spot just outside of town. Dawn and Ed were very entertaining and make a great breakfast. Pouched pear with stuffed french toast. Woof!

The best b&b in Julian hands down. It's cozy, country, and welcoming. Ed and Dawn make everyone feel welcome and at home. We visit evey year and have only positive things to say about this Julian classic.

In room hot chocolate, cider, tea, coffee. Popcorn, microwave, and communal fridge in the guest pantry. Fresh cookies daily. Very clean and tidy.

We had a wonderful experience. The host Ed and Dawn are fantastic. Breakfast was unbelievable. We can't wait to get back.

Spent a wonderful weekend here. The owners of this establishment are friendly very accommodating and keep the grounds and the establishment very clean. There breakfast is a meal to behold. Love the the location because it is very easy to get downtown and it is in a quiet area. We had our own little cabin all to ourselves.

Butterfield B & B was worth every penny! We came up and stayed for my lady's bday for 3 days and she said she had one of the best vacations of her life! I particularly loved the nostalgic feel of the home, the PEACEful setting, and Ed's sauteed bananas! The fritatta with sweet salsa was done just perfect too! Really impressed with Ed and Dawn's chef skills and their professionalism! You can really see a difference in quality of work when people are passionate about what they do! Ed and Dawn do an AMAZING job all around! We haven't felt this relaxed in YEARS! Thank you Dawn & Ed!

We had a lovely get away at Butterfield Bed and Breakfast. Ed and Dawn were very accommodating to our needs and wishes. It felt like we were going to a friend's house to visit. The food was pretty amazing! Stuffed French toast, pinwheel orange, and the homemade artichoke frittata was amazing with Dawn's homemade sweet salsa on top with the right amount of sweetness just topped everything off. The Rose Bud cottage was like an apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower provided good pressure for an enjoyable shower
We will be back!

Great suites! The Apple Sweet was cozy, the decor was great, the food was delicious, and the hosts were delightful!
