5This place has alot of history for the Oroville area. The garden area around the house is beautiful when everything is in bloom. You can also rent this area for weddings and special events
Beautiful place to visit, got family pics done there. It's free to visit the gardens and they do paid tours of the house. Only unfortunate thing is the homeless problem, one ODed when we got there, and though they were handling the situation, it's just unfortunate that they did do that.
Very interesting, personally guided tour of this beautiful old home (1856.wow!)
Nice place but ended up picking up a lot of trash and bottles and cans all over the place. Kinda sad.
Reminded me of Mc Henry mansion in Modesto. The docent that gave the tiur I was on was very knowledgable and answered quite readily.
