C. Knight's Steakhouse, El Dorado Hills CA

I had the New York strip and my wife had the filet mignon. We both enjoyed our dinner very much. The staff was very polite and attentive.

The hospitality of Chuck at sea nights is excellent excellent food would recommend this place to anybody reasonably priced for the quality of food

Absolutely incredible! Luke made great recommendations and had us laughing and enjoying every moment before and after the food arrived. Shrimp scampi was seriously on point and the NY with Brandy peppercorn sauce is unbelievable.
Don't wait for a special occasion, because that's what dining here is. Can't wait to explore the menu as we will certainly be back many times. Thank you Luke!

The menu had some fun things to try out, especially for options in EDH.

All of the food I ordered was delicious. Presentation of the dishes is pleasing. Seems like everything comes out on a hot plate, so take care to not burn yourself.

My steak was good, but I feel like I may have over hyped myself leading into it, as it seemed like one I would make at home if I was feeling fancy. Still delicious though, loved my meal.

Alcohol was a bit expensive but by now you should know what to expect. The place does lean towards every party member paying about 60-100/each, depending on how hungry you are, and if you share starters.

Overall I really liked my time. The atmosphere is great, the only thing keeping it from being a perfect experience for me would have to be I felt a tad let down by the steak, but there were other cuts and many more entree options on the menu to try. I plan to go back on special occasions.

Fantastic steakhouse with seafood options if wanted. Little costly but well worth the price.

Oh my goodness, we absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is always just the best. So friendly, helpful, and personable. And don't even get me started on the food. Everything from hotdogs to filet mignon, escargot to French fries. Truly something for everyone, and it's all some of the best we've ever had. It's our favorite spot for date night or even just for tapas and cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, their menu is delightful, always new things to try and the bartenders are incredible and knowledgeable about all things alcohol. Everytime I'm here, I can't wait to come back.

My family and I visited the restaurant for the first time last night for my birthday. Wow. I can’t even express how amazing the food was! My filet was perfect, the sides were amazing, everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our experience. I truly got the VIP treatment from our waiter, Brandon! The owner Chuck even came by to sit and chat. Such a pleasure to meet him and enjoy the food, atmosphere and cocktails. This is my new favorite restaurant, I can’t wait to go back.

This hidden gem is fantastic! Probably the best happy hour in town and their food is amazing. Definitely not the cheapest entrées but worth every penny. This is a classic steakhouse.

We came in without a reservation and despite only having one weight staff show up we were seated promptly in the bar with a warning that it may be a minute before somebody can get to us. We were served immediately! Sharon, is one of the best waitresses we have ever had! She was so attentive despite running around trying to take care of everyone in the restaurant. The food was so so delicious. Cooked to perfection our steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Kanye who was the host was helping her every step of the way. They make a remarkable team. You will never be disappointed with any of the food at this delightful steakhouse!

I hate to do this, food is a 10/10, but the taste the front of house left in my mouth defeats the whole experience. Chuck, I would love to talk to you about it. I love your restaurant and frequent recently. But last night left a taste in my mouth I would second guess coming in ever again….

I dined at C Knights Steakhouse today for the second time and it was ANOTHER great experience! The service each time I’ve come here has been so lovely, and the food absolutely delicious! Toni behind the bar was so kind and made very tasty drinks! Will definitely be back many more times:)

Local patrons at the bar are loud and profane, This place is primarily a bar with a small area to serve upscale offerings. The two areas, (bar and restaurant) do mix well.

We tried there 2x for happy hour ordered 2 different types of burgers. The first time didn’t like it, but wanted to give them another try. The food came out the same, it’s worse than a fast food burger chain but the service was excellent. It’s too bad because we want to come back but the food level of quality is just not there for us.

Awesome local steakhouse! Fantastic addition to the El Dorado Hills Town Center. Great cuts of meat, food quality overall and beautiful presentation. Classic decor/interior, perfect for date night, business meetings or a cocktail before a movie. We'll definitely be back!

This is probably the best steak I have had in Northern California! Ellie was absolutely amazing! I loved her but the food was so incredible, I feel like anything I say about it won't do it justice! You. Must. Go! That's all I can say. Your depriving yourself if you don't.

Silverware was dirty, frozen crab cakes had no flavor. Steak was broiled on one side and tasteless. Mushrooms and potatoes were awful and everything is a la cart at crazy prices! Even the drinks were bad. They didn't have the wine we wanted on thier list. Over $300 for two people is Rediculously over priced

Stopped here for dinner after looking at the apartments in town center. Cute cozy steak house, food was good staff was nice.

We stumbled upon C. Knights a couple of years ago and they are amazing! Service is always superior and the food is simply amazing. Elle is our favorite! She remembered our names and cocktail choice after only one visit. Her customer service is as good as it gets. She even Sings songs upon request at your dinner table, including happy birthday (angelic voice) as well. If your looking for a quiet well decorated restaurant with charm, great service and top notch food; this is the place!

- Indoor & outdoor seating.
- As the name implies, there are quite a few steak choices/sizes to choose from. Plus some lobster, chicken dishes. All come a la carte, then sides, salads, soups extra.
- A fancy appetizer & tapas starters menu.
- The food is respectable, but not show-stopper visual presentation.
- Only one uni-sex, single-use bathroom.
