Cabañas Restaurant & Pupusería

This place was recommended to me by the owner’s sister. She works with me and sometimes she brought me some pupusas which I ate and they were delicious! So now I place my order in advance. I live about 7 miles away from O. C. And they made my pupusas while a drive to pick them up. My order it’s ready in about 20 mins. If you love PUPUSAS as much as I do, I recommend CABAÑAS restaurant in Orange Cove, California

Small town restaurants always surprised me.
It is located on the main street.
The food is very tasty. Great portion and fresh cook. The place is very clean. Expect slow service due to a shortage of staff. They have a sign to let customers know about the staff situation. The staff is very nice. They have a touch tune music box, which is fun to play your favorite tunes even if you have to pay to play music.
Family-friendly environment. Take over the phone orders.

Without a doubt one of the best Papusa’s I have ever experienced. The cloud-like base with a mixta meat that was savory and clean. Outstanding. Then the Ceviche came. Omg. Mini shrimps and fish diced in a perfect ratio with a complex spicy note. Absolutely the reason why small family restaurants produce the best meals. And fair prices. Bravo!

Food was meh, service was ok. Got 2 bean and cheese burrito
With rice and beans. Brought 2 bean and cheese and rice burritos. They fixed it but the burritos they brought back were super tiny. Not worth the money at all.

Best pupusas in the Central Valley! No? ! I’ll take a drive all the way from Fresno to Orange Cove just to get me these babies n I always tip my register lady, cus I appreciate their service and delivery of quality!

Good place. The Food was good. I would recommend to order everything at once because if you order something later they will take a while to prepare it. Make sure to ask to bring the soup at last otherwise it might get cold while they bring you the other food! Overall, good experience food was good!

They would definitely deserve 5 stars but the taste of the pupusas have gone down a lot. I don’t know if they changed cooks but when I went there about 3 years ago I would have recommended to anyone

Waited forever just to receive cold food that should have been hot. Also my fries were not cooked all the way. Probably won't go back

I cant believe they are in business! Ordered carnitas they were so hard and dried out i thought they might be dog food! Will never return!

Stingy on low quality napkins. Poor service. Not busy during lunch but will take 30min to get your order
