Cabrillo National Monument Visitor Center reviews
18It would be nice if they used our admission money and put actual soap in the restrooms. All the restrooms I went to had no soap or soap that was essentially water.
You will be awarded with a spectacular view once you decide to visit this monument. San Diego, Pacific Ocean and even Mexico, if the weather is clear, can be seen from over there. Moreover, you will have the chance to learn a few things about the first conquistadores and more specifically J. R. Cabrillo, the first European that explored the area today is called California.
Beautiful, interesting and fun. I came because my son proposed to his girlfriend absolutely beautiful scenery and day!
Very nice national park. Excellent views of San Diego and Coronado Island and open ocean on the other.
Cool visitor center for the monument, lighthouse, and tide pools. You can get clothes, stuffed animals, mugs, magnets, books, bookmarks, and more here. Friendly employees and a restroom nearby.
I find Zen here looking over the Pacific Ocean and then experiencing it at the tide pools watching the waves crash upon the rock wall.all just beautiful.
It was a clear and warm day. The views of the sail boats, the Pacific Ocean, San Diego and the harbor area were fabulous.
It was low tide and the tide pools were fun to explore (but also explore them nearby at Sunset Beach).
Views are spectacular! Well worth the cost of a pass if you visit very many National parks each year. Cabrillo is a great value, especially if you time your visit well to be able to visit the tidepools at low tide, check out the lighthouse, whale watch so.e hiking around the area and finish up with enjoying the view of the channel and harbor. You can see a good portion of the ciy all the way into Mexico. Then check out gift shop. Lots of interesting books and souvenirs, especially stuff for kids.
The best view point in San Diego. It’s a National park so expect to pay leave pets at home. Do t rush to get out of there.
It's a relatively small park but with lots of beauty packed in. It's a hot spot for film crews for a reason.
This is a beautiful national Monument Park. Great views and access to the beach area and tide pools if there is a low-tide.
It is a great place to visit and read about the history. Also great views and picture taking opportunities
You can see and listen to souvenirs and related explanations and exhibitions. You can also receive a Junior Ranger badge!
Beautiful location and view. I received a very cordial and welcoming greeting from the park ranger on duty. I received a complementary visitor's package for access to national parks due to veteran's disability status. Thank you.
This place is so cold. We didn't get to see all of it, but we did enjoy what we got to see. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back! And veterans make sure to ask for your lifetime pass.
It's honestly whatever. I'm from San Francisco and live near the coast, so it was very underwhelming. But if you aren't lucky enough to live close to California coast then a beautiful place.
Great views of San Diego. A “must” for every visitor. Only the $20 for parking is a bit annoying.
