Great spot for brunch and outdoor seating since it stays shady and cool. Food is good but not great and a bit pricey

We had a terrific lunch. The food was artfully created with high quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful. Six stars.

I ordered the Turkey, Bacon, & Avocado sandwich, which came with avocado, bacon, smoked cheddar, Dijonnaise, mixed greens, and roasted red pepper spread on ciabatta bread. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed a cup of latte, which was equally satisfying.

*One thing to note is that there's always a queue at the order counter. You'll need to line up to place your order and make payment first. Afterward, the staff will assign you a number, and your food will be delivered to your table. If you're dining with someone else, it's a good idea to have one person order the food while the other finds a table in the restaurant.

Great environment and friendly staff. Big, appealing menu. My friend and I sat outside, and it was very pleasant. My friend had pancakes that looked delicious, as well as a fruit salad. I had the salmon BLT but left off the salmon. The bread was toasted and rustic with a coarse texture. Very good sandwich. The restaurant was busy (Sunday afternoon), and service was a bit slow. I would rate the cafe 3.5 if that choice were available.

They have good options, the place is nice and it attracts all sorts of people: students, younger and older couples, groups of friends, etc. They serve comfort food: it will not blow you away, but it will be a good experience. Check it out, it will be worth the visit

The food is nice, no complaines it's the service I didn't like. It's based on a tip, and I ended up doing everything, even getting my sugar.

WORST pancake I've ever tasted in my life. I really wonder what they did to the pancake to make it awefully salty and gooey like that. Had to eat breakfast cuz I had work later on but couldn't finish the dish. Silveries had pink lipstick stain on it. The maple syrup jaw was dirty too.disgusting.all the cups had milk leftovers clogged up in every corner of it. Omelet had that egg scent that should have easily gotten rid of if it had been seasoned before being poured onto the pan.

Casual but sophisticated lunch/breakfast spot. Very good salads & sandwiches. You can find a table first and order digitally from the table (indoors).

I came to meet someone here for brunch, and I was very underwhelmed by the food. I'm not sure how basic breakfast can be messed up, but it was. It seemed like they got the cheapest, thinnest bacon they could find. I was very disappointed because I make better bacon at home and the ham was disgusting. You have to pay upfront before getting your food, so I don't think you can get a refund if you dont like something. The only thing that was decent was the waffle. I dont know if I ordered the wrong thing or what, but my associate and I didn't enjoy the food here.

Great service clean tables and bright and open feeling inside restaurant. We ate outside and the food was awesome! I had the trio salad and it was sooooo good! Good sized portions as well! Good to go

A surprisingly diverse menu, locally sourced ingredients, a friendly staff and comfy dining environment.

They are great and nice and professional especially the lady of the cashier with blue eyes called depi or her name starts with D on Monday 5 June 2023, she was was cooperative also the sudanese lady a month before was nice, also the food is clean and tasty in general my experience was great.thanks and kind regards

Really nice place to grab a bite, with a diverse menu. Unfortunately it's a little out of my budget as a student to visit very often.

I had an AMAZING experience at Cafe Bernardo! I was sent there for "the best brunch in Davis" by a coffee shop down the road, and it did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order. The manager checked on me multiple times and made suggestions for other restaurants in Napa and Sonoma. I will absolutely be returning!
