Cafe Europa

This is one of my favorite restaurants. My partner and I come here often for date nights. We love everything on the menu and the owner is so kind. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is my favorite place to eat in the entire Bay Area. Every time I’m in the city I come here. It doesn’t matter how far out of the way I have to go, I always make it. The server is so friendly and he always has the perfect recommendations. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel at home. I didn’t grow up eating a lot of the food that they serve but every time I eat there I always think about past memories. I highly recommend this cafe,

Home cooked food with decent service in a dusty old bar. For the price and atmosphere, 2.5 stars. If they cleaned up the space (smells like an old basement), and lowered the price from $50pp to $20-30, then I would give it 3.5 stars.
Cafe Europa should be at the same price point as Cinderella Bakery.

Food, service, and ambiance all amazing here. Some snoots give 1 star reviews because they think the silverware and glasses not matching is kitsch. It’s part of the charm. Believe them if you want and leave it for the rest of us.

Delicious classic European dishes in relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly waitstaff. Don't miss out on the special; it will be good.

OMG. I have walked past this restaurant for a year and finally dropped in last night.the schnitzel and stroganoff were amazing and i have been in Austria many times. The server was great and next time in the restaurant, i will have him pick the food. This place is not at all trendy but a fantastic place to go for a hearty meal. Highly recommended!

Was lucky enough to have this place to ourselves- the service was outstanding and the food was quite memorable. I will definitely be back!

The food didn't taste that great. We were super hungry, so we ate everything though and ran off to our event. The place was not the cleanest, including the tea pot from where we drank the tea. Mediocre experience.

I think prices are too high (around $28 without taxes for a main dish), no lights, so the place looks kind of off. The service was nice, I think it was the owner, this is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars. I think the menu, prices, and local/atmosphere could be updated

What a surprise! Sunday evening, last-minute craving for something NOT pizza. Had a delicious meal with a fabulous server/proprietor whose recommendations were all winners. Would definitely return! My only quibble is the lighting made me look even more tired than I felt. The food and warmth of the proprietor more than made up for this.

You can do better!
No lights, price don’t match with quality of food.
I didn’t thought those restaurants existed!
One star for customers service.
