The staff here are very welcoming and remember who you are on your next visit. Some even remember my order. They make you feel like family!

We just ordered a salad, and burrito from Cafe Rio. First of all I ordered two types of chicken and didn’t get the second kind. It was extra money. Then they didn’t prepare it correctly. The only good thing is they switched my dressing for the right one, and actually was very nice. Other than that it was not a great experience.

Jorge made our experience FANTASTIC! Everyone here was very friendly and pleasant. BEST location in the area HANDS DOWN! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I would recommend this Cafe Rio! Food portions were shareable and food is good.

Had some nasty nachos from this place. Chips were burnt, but also tasted like they were fried in very old oil. The shredded chicken tasted 100% like tuna, and was slightly sour. I'm never coming back here.

My sister is here visiting me and said she wanted a good burrito so I decided to take her to Cafe Rio. I regret my decision, this was the worst experience ever. My sister was trying to ask the young lady questions and while doing so, the young lady was rolling her eyes, sighing, and had a look of annoyance on her face. I noticed her actions but said nothing. It wasn't until my sister asked another question and the lady assisting us rolled her eyes, turned and said something in Spanish to the lady standing next to her who responded back in Spanish. At this point I asked for the manager and the lady who responded back said I am the manager. They continued to talk in Spanish throughout our transaction. They were also out of steak and the chicken looked very dry I asked about the steak and was told she had to cook it so it was a 10 minute wait. Based on my experience thus far, I said nevermind. I visit different Cafe Rios all the time and I've never had such a poor experience. I will drive all the way to Rancho from Fontana from now on!

Service was terrible. They had no salad dressing and was out of chicken. Had to wait for 20 mins for them to make the dressing. She did give a discount but the service was bad.

When I went to the restaurant Brooke was amazing one of the best managers that I have seen work in the restaurant business in a while five stars is because she is an amazing worker and she seems like she does her job very well I recommend her for manager of the year

Today my wife and I went around 4: 26 pm to order dinner. There were no other customers except for us. When we began ordering my wife asked for fresh Black Beans because tray was almost empty with dried Black Beans. The girl behind the counter appeared to get an attitude but complied with the request. She placed the Beans and Rice on the tostada shell and when she added a small amount of Steak my wife asked if she could add a little more meat (since there is an extra charge for the Steak) she rolled her eyes and whispered something to her female co-worker (found out after she was the manager). From that point on she gave my wife attitude during the rest of the contract. The cherry on top was was when we went to pay the manager had just informed the cashier that there was no more Veteran discounts beginning today (I'm a Permanently Disabled Veteran) except Active Duty Uniformed Service Members. Prior to today during two consecutive visits they were out of both the Steak and Firegrilled Chicken which is our usual order at the Fontana Cafe Rio. Again we were greatly disappointed. Normally we were always receiving the Veteran discount with no problems. We have no plans of returning to this Cafe Rio. We'll go back to Cane's where they NEVER run out of Chicken and we always receive a Veteran Discount with a smile and great Service. Let's clarify something. It's just not about the Veterans Discount. My wife is very big on that, I appreciate it and if we get it that's fine and if we don't then that's cool too. But it was the overall experience today and the past disappointments that was the catalyst for our decision not to return. When we first started going there it was always a great experience. Staff was nice and had a great sense of humor. But now the attitudes are disappointing, sometimes the store is dirty and the portions are now small. I'm not unaware about the rising costs to do business. It's just a reflection of the sign of the times. But a few pieces of meat and small scoop of beans! Again, we were the only ones there when we got there and ordered. A couple of people showed up after. Hope that there experience was better.

Terrible management with poor customer service. Will not go back to this location in Fontana. I ordered online which can be a challenge. My Husband is allergic to cheese. Ordered a wet burrito green sauce no cheese. He went to eat it and there was cheese inside burrito. I couldn't find a comment section to request no cheese and I honestly didn't think about the cheese inside burrito. My husband called location and nice girl answered and said to come back and get another burrito and no need to bring other one back. My husband drove to the location and manager on duty said best he can do is give him 50% off on another burrito. My husband asked why should I have to pay for another burrito and manager said it cost him money too. Manager said he didn't see no cheese on receipt. My husband took his receipt and ended up at del taco. Never returning to this location. I spent $30 bucks for terrible customer service
