Tonight was my first time here. Mike helped me out and the service was excellent. Mike let me try their hot chocolate, let me tell you.it's WOW amazing lol! This place has Italy vibes all day, great decor, indoor/outdoor dining and a great selection of drinks/treats. Their tiramisu was authentic, fluffy and spectacular. For my drink I went with the mocha chocolate as the hot chocolate is very heavy n rich. The mocha helps sip the delicious drink down. They also have parking out front but it's hit or miss being in the middle of busy downtown. They follow covid protocols and place is very clean. Overall great first impression.

What must be the affects of mental heath, the lady just picked on my wife an I as we walked. Been getting mediocre coffee here on&off for years. So, we asked for the usual half-Caf. She then interrupts the man who was talking our order happily and says, NO only what’s on the menu and carry’s on sniggering at her own awkwardness.
A last resort coffee place in Palo Alto if everywhere else closed.

The interior was cute. The coffee was quite good. Not the best but def not the worst. The croissant with vanilla cream was very delicious. And the staff working there were friendly. The aura was warm and calming. I will definitely go there again.

A unique and wonderful Italian coffee shop right on University in downtown Palo Alto. Always my go-to for coffee when I’m in the area. The vibe is very Italian and almost antique, and there’s plenty of seating outside and some inside to sit and get some work done. They are also open pretty late so you can sit here for a while. Overall, one of my absolute favorites with wonderful coffee and treats.

Con: this business does not accept US dollars

Pro: good cafe au lait and baguette sandwiches

This is the only pretentious dump that won't take cash along University Avenue that I patronize.

High end coffees & teas. Too bad COVID means you gotta be outside. The interior always struck me as quite pretty. But with outdoor dining, they likely doubled their capacity bc inside is quite cramped.

Adore this place! Has quite a unique identity and aesthetic, as well as a good variety of coffee drinks and even some I've not seen in any other coffee shops. Plus, great desserts and seating!

Most authentic espresso outside of Italy! Their treats are also amazing! Staff is always super friendly and helpful. This place is my favorite Cafe hands down!

Omg this place. It is heaven in a cup. After a terrible Italian dinner, we were looking for a great dessert place and we were so impressed. The mochas are drinking chocolate with coffee and it is heaven in a glass. Thick and delicious. The desserts are also fantastic. I’m going to be dreaming about this place!

The vibe is more of a traditional Italian cafe (ie.no oat milk) rather than hip trendy SF coffee house. It’s a nice change and we thoroughly enjoyed our Cappuccino and Cappuccino Viennese (topped with whipped cream). Tasty!

This is a really pretty cafe which has a great ambiance. They've outdoor seating as well. The experience here is pleasant as the staff is really friendly and nice! I tried the marocchino and chocolate mousse and it was superb. The bakery looked pretty good as well here

Charming Cafe with excellent food and drinks. The outdoor seating was packed on a Friday night. They had a live piano player. Hot chocolate was literally melted chocolate.where was the milk? A little too rich for me. Needed water to wash it down. Other than that, the egg salad sandwich was "eggcellent", pun intended, and the vanilla cream croissant was exquisite. Thanks for an amazing culinary experience!

Smooth coffee flavors; medium roast (no dark roast).
Tasty confectionary. Cool and enjoyable outdoor seating.

The whip hot chocolate was very good, the coffe was decent. What I didn't like is when asked what the difference between two espresso drinks were, the young man at the register was not helpful and didn't seem knowledgeable about each drink offered even though the menu wasn't very extensive. It seems he definitely needs more training in customer service and more training on how the drinks are prepared. It felt he tried to rush us to order, even taking a person's order behind us instead of finishing our order.

This the best cafe in the whole Bay Area, it has a class, quality, and consistency, and it attracts good crowd. They make moat of the things in-house, and take pride in everything they do. I visit here often, and I feel I am in a very civilized place.

We have been looking for a place like this for a while, a place where you can just sit down and enjoy a good cup of coffee, an elegant espresso or a refreshing drink without having to eat a full meal. Ce ty European chic place with good coffee and yummy and interesting flavored gelato

Awesome local cafe. Love to see these types of places in downtown. If you haven't been yet or want to try something new, get the hot chocolate; absolutely delicious.
