Cafe Caffè Calabria reviews
18I placed an order on DoorDash and called Caffe Calabria to check on the status of my order status. The Caffe Calabria employee was frustrated that I placed the order on DoorDash and told me they don’t accept DoorDash orders even though I placed a DoorDash order 30 minutes earlier. He also didn’t offer any assistance. What a disgusting experience.
My boss rented out the upstairs of this restaurant for my company to have dinner together and hangout. The decor is stunning and the food was amazing.
Extremely friendly staff. Pizza came out fast and it's the best Neapolitian style pizza in San Diego! The espresso is perfect
Very unique cafe, pizzeria, and bar reminiscent of similar venues in Europe. Have spent hundreds of hours here over the years having great times with great people.
Portland particular about coffee and Caffè Calabria delivers! And the pizza and cocktails? ! *chefs kiss* Highly recommend!
Thanks to Calabria, I now know the wonder and glory that is a bomba. Guinness and a shot of espresso? !? ! Yes please. And the chocolate tart? To die for.
This place is just amazing. First off, the location and the decoration of the place is perfect. The restaurant is massive, so you can find yourself sitting by the road, indoors, or even in a small plaza outside. The design is very modern and clean. Next, the prices are very reasonable (pizzas are about $14, calzones are also $14). The portions are big and the food tastes very authentic. The food wasn't layered with oil and grease like most Italian restaurants based in America. It had great taste and didn't make me feel terrible afterwards. The calzone is massive and I would say that if you aren't that hungry, it could definitely feed two people. Will definitely be coming back here!
I love the energy here. The pizza is delicious the staff are warm and it's vibrance makes you feel your in Italy for a short time.
Best espresso in San Diego and amazing location and European vibe. Italian Pizza is bomb and the espresso is like rocket fuel. Highly recommend.
Come in and explore all 6 different spots including a funky Bank Vault and sunny Balcony

Morning: serious jolt of caffeine? Check! Lunchtime: great pizza? Check! Mid-afternoon: another jolt & maybe a pastry? Check! Is it already the cocktail hour & time for a martini? Check!
You can spend any time of the day - or all day! - here. And why wouldn't you? !
The coffee and pizza are my favorite in town.reminds me home and smells good and clean inside.recommended for those who understand Italian pizza's!
A cozy place, make sure you try the Caffè viennese if you are a coffee person! The interior is lovely and they open up till later the day too
The coffee is SO GOOD.
I had a Bicerin and a Cappuccino, and my friend had a Viennese. They we're all delicious!
We didn't get to try the food because the chef was out sick, but I'm definitely coming back to try that pizza!
The service was great, super nice staff, it was close to closing and they gave us pastries for free since we couldn't get food?
The restaurant is HUGE, so many areas to sit indoors and also an outside area. Great place to do some work, or to meet with friends and talk, since it's not super loud.
Parking sucks, but we went in the weekday so we were able to park in the Chase parking lot a block down in front of Queen Bee's and it wasn't crazy expensive. $5 for 2 hrs I think, then $3/hr after that.
Phenomenal food and espresso! Great vibe and European feel to the cafe (being European I should know). The counter staff could use more training in customer service skills and POS (although that too adds to the European vibe, lol).
Consistently the best coffee in town! My absolute favorite is the Breve Macchiato, definitely double but be careful if you're sensitive to caffeine; this stuff will knock your socks off!
Recently, baristas have been inconsistent, so you may want to check who makes good espresso and stick with that person. What we experienced yesterday showed exactly that - same beans, equipment, etc but 2 different operators created 1 state of the art coffee and 1 unpalatable one.
Good Coffee, great breakfast, good panani sandwiches, plenty of seating to chose from, bar, bistro area, roasting room, back room. Outside and upstairs also. Plan to hunt for parking, or try paid lot behind, off one street east of 30th.
