The almost 1hour wait for the pancake was not it for me. The pancake itself was ok but not worth the wait.

Delicious crepes and pancake soufflés. Treat yourself after a hard exam or something of the sort.

We tried this place for the first time tonight because we wanted dessert. (FYI they stop taking orders at 8: 15 pm for the pancakes cups. Someone else's review said the bowls were goof, so we tried the garlic beef rice bowl and the ube crepe cake slice. The bowl was SOOOO delicious. The cake was good too!

The zapp chicken wings, carbonara pasta, and souffle were all very enjoyable! I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the highest level of ingredient or cooking, but it's fun and interesting enough.

I would not recommend the pancake souffles as takeout. If I ever have them dine-in, I will BE SURE TO UPDATE THIS GAHD

Also in my $15 clamshell please give me a tiny tiny saucer of maple syrup instead of a tiny tiny saucer of Log Cabin High Fructose Corn Syrup With Maple Flavor

Amazing souffle. The wait is long but totally worth it. Please be patient. They are doing a really good job.

This was a cute spot for a friendly get-together. The food was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the giant fluffy pancakes. What also ordered the fried chicken and two pasta dishes along with strawberry orange and mango passion fruit craft sodas.

Food was yummy but not something I needed to go back for seconds.

While I have not tried the entree’s here, you should really come for the desserts. The Pancake Soufflés are simple out of this world. Not too sweet and wonderfully fluffy with amazing toppings. I would go out of my way to come here just to eat these. Just thinking about them now makes me want to go back.

After a Over priced and not so good souffle, spaghetti, and drinks. The cashier made me feels like i am bothering her chill time. Saw the website which had japanese writing on, after try, it surly didnt came from Japan, South east asia maybe, over all will not be back again, and will not recommend to family-friends

This place has THE BEST carbonara I think I've ever tasted. I discovered this place just before I was moving from San Diego and honestly it's probably for the best that I didn't discover it sooner, I'd probably eat here at least twice a week lol I also lived in Japan for a while and these are the absolute closest comparison that I've been able to find in the states so far! Definitely recommend!

I loved this place for over a year now.but after them mixing up our order, and refusing to fix it after we paid for it, the customer service was horrible and rude. The person taking the order just yelled and yelled refusing to take responsibility for her errors. She never stopped complaining and the other lady did the same. Haven't they heard of customer service? We will never go back. There are great restaurants a block away that make great food, and great customer service! STAY AWAY!

10/10 loved the service and the food! Definitely will be coming back soon. I ordered the Pancake soufflé, wings and pasta everything tasted amazing!

FOOD & DRINKS
This was some of the best pancake soufflés I had in my life. Not too sweet and not too eggy. The consistency was perfect. Melted like a cloud on my tongue. The whole presentation was very good as well.

SERVICE
Could be more friendly and open. Lacked warmth for a café.

ATMOSPHERE
Spacious and for the most part cozy enough to lure you in.

RATING
The pancake won me over. The café just needs a little more on the other two categories and I wouldn’t mind one more star.

Food and service was AMAZING! Had the chicken Tom yum pasta and the salted caramel and banana pancake soufle. Pure perfection.

We went specifically to try the souffle pancakes. This area is typically known for difficult parking so we decided to arrive before they opened. Nothing on this street is open before 11 am on Sundays, so parking lots (the few and limited) were empty. The pancakes take 30 min so we ordered the carbonara based on good reviews. The carbonara came out within a few minutes and this kept us occupied while we waited for the pancakes. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The carbonara was good! Souffle pancakes came out a little over 30 min but were warm and worth the wait! We got the Ube and Chocolate cornflake to eat there. We ordered 2 more pancakes to take home (these have to be assembled when you get home so not pretty like what you would get for dine in). Overall, very successful foodie meal.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in SD. Me and my friend ordered 2 pastas, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, soda drunk, shuffle. All of them are perfect 10/10. All the food ordered had 'layers of flavors' and they match so well! Pasta originates from Italy but the sauce is from Thailand, plus the herbs and cheese and fresh tomatoes and they all match so well. Would love to come again!
