Not sure where to begin. Moving in was a nightmare. Given the wrong directions on where to pick up my keys then given the WRONG key to get in my apartment. Then I had to wait days for my garage key then WEEKS for my mailbox keys. Crystal is my “manager” and she is the WORST. Picks and chooses when to respond to emails. Useless and truly uneducated on how to be a property manager. I am sick and tired of the lack of information and lack of effort to help tenants. This company is horrible and she is just as bad. Can’t wait to be out this building bc I will never ever use this company again. STAY. AWAY.

This company has the worst property management. You should really step you game up and put yourself in the position of the tenants.

Great place to live if you are okay with them keeping all of your deposit, or if you wanna deal with extremely unhelpful staff. I would not recommend them to any potential Renters. Please stay away.

I live across the street from the lemon ave property and thought moving would be easier for me since this place is very close to me. As simple as it is I asked for a tour to compare the place with other properties that I have seen so far. The manager responded to confirm you have a credit score of +650 and x3 income to receive a tour! Just say I do not want to leave my desk so people would leave you alone lol I have had 6 tours so far and no one has ever responded to a tour request like that. I have way more than they ask to offer but not interested anymore!

When looking for my apartment I contacted multiple property management companies. Although I did not choose a property with Cal-Prop, Crystal Kennedy still gave me an informative tour and reminded me to stay in touch if my current living situation needs to change.

Kerry Davis is one of worst property managers she lies and cheating in 10 years I living in property she's the worst one. She's is with no moral personality person I ever meet in world. If she shows you property better ask for different person. All of them seems to be decent except her.

This company is trash. They will keep your deposit. Even after you have cleaned the property you made this is it rental ready for basically they don't have to do nothing come in and do whatever the basic stuff. Are you charge you for clean which does not need no cleaning it's company's just straight trash management sucks especially in the lower end properties in spring Valley beware also a lot of properties be mold infested so be very careful when you're ready for these people. Watch out with some of these reviews because these are friends and families and people who actually work here and do not live on a property I just moved from the property in July and was there actually 5 years

My family and I have lived here for awhile. We honestly appreciate Kerry Davis for being attentive, cooperative and compassionate. Thank you for all that you do.

Called in an issue with shower doors and spoke with Jaime who was friendly, empathetic and professional. Less than 24 hours later I got a text from Anthony who coordinated a time to meet and then arrived on time, as promised. Anthony not only made the repair, his thoughtfulness made the shower area better than ever! Immediately following the repair, Crystal, our Property Manager, followed up to ensure the repairs were done right. (Worth mentioning is Crystal's always sunny disposition! A real pleasure to work with.) Crystal, Jaime, and Anthony all went above and beyond in their attention to detail, coordination, and flawless execution. I strongly recommend Cal-Prop to anyone looking for their next San Diego apartment.

Very unhelpful when it comes to repairs, our property manager Jaime has neglected a leak in our unit for over two years! Mold in the carpets and won't clean them. Won't be using this company again. Put in new floors in the units above us but won't fix our ceiling.worst PM company in San Diego. Without a doubt.

We had an issue with the pipes. Tyler, from cal-prop maintenance was professional throughout the repair process. We definitely recommend his services! Thank you, Tyler!

I wanted to thank Tyler for helping my whole building out! He got our water heater back up and going so quickly after we called in, he was also able to help me with another work order while he was here! Really grateful.

Shay and Crystal oversee our properties and we are happy with the overall results. It’s been challenging to recover from COVID-19 vacancies and turnover of tenants. Within several months, they have organized and improved occupancy.

I have been a client of Cal-Prop for over 33 years. In that time Cal-Prop has not only managed my real estate portfolio, but they have also given me guidance and helped me find new properties. I have done 1031 exchanges which would have been difficult without Cal-Prop. In managing my properties, they have been proactive and always responsive to my questions and requests. I think 33 years says it all.

I had such a good experience with Cal-Prop Management during a recent viewing in IB on Calla Avenue. Jesus was such a pleasure to work with. He was professional and attentive and just had a really great attitude. Kind of refreshing to see somebody who likes and is passionate about what they do. He really listened to all the things I was looking for and had great attention to detail. I’m new to the area so it was really helpful to speak with somebody who was knowledgeable of the area and current rental market. I wasn’t able to go through with the rental process due to unforeseen circumstances but definitely look forward to working with Cal-Prop and Jesus again when I am able to.
