CalFresh Benefits Office for Yolo County

I had a really great beginning with the Cal fresh application process. Everything was on time in my time of need. However I waited a full month after my phone interview and turning in my documents promptly to find that my application was never processed by the person I did my interview with. I spent a month with no money figuring out how to eat day to day.so I had to call the benefits center number, spent a total of about an hour on hold between two people, both of who seemed very unhappy to be working their jobs. I'm a pretty patient and understanding person and having someone already upset when they answer the phone is off putting.thankfully Yvette helped me out entirely! She notified me that the interview was never entered so it wasn't worked on but ensured that she was entering it and would make certain it was approved by the end of the day.she gave me a call around 3: 56pm, right before they close, to confirm and I got my benefits first thing the next morning!

tl;dr interviewer never finished my application, I went a month without money for food, called and people in the call center were brash but Yvette saved the day in under a day.

It was pretty quick they had me In-N-Out and they were all polite and very kind can help me as I needed. Review all in all to county of Yolo County Health and Human Service Agency was okay visit in I would recommended
