Cali Baguette Express reviews
16Good bahn mi and great/cheap coffee. Wish they had a bit more fillings for the price, but not bad still!
The best thing about this place is the convenient drive-thru which is why I decided to give this place another shot after over a year or so. We noticed that each time we had gone, it was becoming all bread with little inside and it got to the point we were so disappointed we stopped. Well, I was across the street at the market before deciding I didn’t want to cook lunch and to give this place another shot since it had been so long and my partner loved this place when it was good. And, I can report that they have started putting much more ingredients inside and they were fresh. So, we can enjoy it again as long as they don’t reverse the improvement.
Nice and fast:) definitely coming back. Please add some sweet and spicy sauce to the menu. It will change the game.
Sandwich is okay not great. Their avocado smoothie is horrible, it has nothing to do with avocado except for the color.
This is my go-to place for milk tea. They’re generous with the boba and the drinks are really affordable (and tasty)! I’ve also never had food from here I didn’t like. Everything is fresh and filling. I’m making this a regular stop for my kind of comfort food!
Drive through Ban Mi Vietnamese Sandwichs. Great baguettes and tasty sandwiches. I think there was only one guy working the place. It took almost 20 minutes to go through drive through.
My family I come here all the time it's very good and affordable prices. The only thing I do not like from the menu is the spring rolls they have a very weird taste and the peanut sauce is not very tasty either compared to other places.
Very good place to grab Vietnamese sandwiches early in the mornining. Fast & friendly service! Don't get their Vietnamese coffee though; it tastes nasty!
Never really had a bond me sandwich until I moved to San diego! And Cali Baguette has some of the Bahn Mi Sandwiches if tasted second to CLi Bahn Mi. The freshness of the Daikon Radish, Pickled Carrots, Cilantro and Jalapeno a Fried Egg or the beef for me are delicious! All the time!
Very good especially for the price. My girlfriend had a baguette sandwich she was very happy with, I had pho. The broth was amazing.
I love this place! I have been going here for years. Their bread is a huge part of the taste but also the veggie and freshness of ingredients. I have not had their soup or any of their rinks. It iced Vietnamese coffee but I’m sure they are good too
Had not been here in 4 years. Went in for shrimp sandwich was not like I remembered. It was skimpy. The vietnamese coffee lacked condensed milk, and the egg rolls were stale. Won't be visiting again. Disappointed with quality of food. This place used to be phenomenal.
My go to spot for Bahn Mi! The bread is always soft and super fresh ingredients! The sandwich is huge at a great price as well. They have the best sandwiches in SD in my opinion
It was ok I want impress but had the BBQ pork sandwich I'll try other items ice coffee was ok also nothing write home about to much stems on the cilintro
Worst customer service of all time and worst 'sandwich' ever created. They had to have a 3 person 'huddle' in the 'back' to see if I could PAY FOR EXTRA SAUCE. (Which was just right in front of the counter) to which they replied no. Never go here. Unless you prefer as*ho*le sandwiches with, no joke, zero flavor. I'm not JUST a disgruntled customer but I hope this place goes down in a fury. Who? Likes. Dry bread?
The banh mi sandwiches are terrible. The bread is hard and tastes stale. Definitely avoid the banh mi here.
