This review has been long in the making, and I wish to convey my profound gratitude for the exceptional pain relief extended to me by Dr. Ortega. I confronted two specific areas of discomfort:

Primarily, I wrestled with intermittent lower back pain issues that occasionally incapacitated me, reducing my ability to engage in routine activities. Dr. Ortega's adept back adjustments, combined with his education on the use of ice packs, tailored exercises, and heightened bodily awareness, consistently yielded nearly immediate relief, or at the very least, alleviation within the next day or two, enabling me to return to my daily normal routines.

More profoundly, I grappled with excruciating, abrupt, and intense pain in my dominant right upper arm. This incapacitating pain manifested unpredictably, whether I was in motion or at rest, engendering a pervasive sense of trepidation due to its capricious nature. This was unequivocally the most intense pain I have ever experienced, with the added distress of sleep interruptions during the midnight hours. Moreover, the potential repercussions on my professional career were a cause for legitimate concern.

I initially sought consultation for this arm pain with my primary care physician, who subsequently directed me to a specialist for X-ray and MRI assessments. Regrettably, these diagnostic efforts failed to furnish conclusive results, leaving me in a state of continued distress as my arm continued to be plagued by sporadic, excruciating episodes of pain.

It was during my initial visit to Dr. Ortega for my lumbar issues that I casually alluded to the persistent agony in my arm. It was then he introduced me to a therapeutic modality known as Active Release Therapy (ART) and suggested that it might offer significant help. Despite the discomfort associated with this therapy, I embraced it wholeheartedly, having exhausted all other options in my quest for relief from this unrelenting arm pain. Through the integration of Dr. Ortega's therapeutic regimen and my heightened awareness of arm and hand posture, I soon found myself free from the grip of this debilitating pain. This was not an immediate remedy; rather, it took approximately 2-3 months for a complete resolution. While very rare, there have been sporadic recurrences of the pain; however, a visit to Dr. Ortega's office swiftly quells any resurgence.

I can, without reservation, assert that Dr. Ortega has effectively addressed and alleviated my arm pain, an achievement for which I am profoundly grateful. This restoration has enabled me to recommence my customary daily activities, both personally and professionally, without the specter of impending pain hanging over me as it once did. Words are insufficient to convey the depth of my appreciation, not solely for the amelioration of my back pain discomfort but, more significantly, for the eradication of the piercing, acute arm pain that had previously tormented me. My heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Ortega and his dedicated team at California Chiropractic for the invaluable pain relief and the care you provide in keeping my physical well-being in alignment.

Dr. Ortega is the best! I have very complicated back issues and he always addresses all of my concerns and keeps me moving.

I had seen 3 chiropractors before a friend recommended Dr. Ortega to me in 2003, and I've been with him ever since. The staff is always so warm and inviting. I also just received the most therapeutic deep tissue massage from Leti. She made muscles in my back that have been tight for most of the year while I was forward deployed loosen up in one 90 minute session!
