Destroying a greenbelt is conservation? ! Cutting down trees, weedwhacking with zero regard, trespassing on private property etc etc. This group is a joke!
Destroyed a local greenbelt "because they were told to". What a joke! Be ashamed for what you've "accomplished".
One of the best centers and job to work at. Los Padres CCC staff some of the most honest, freindly, helpful people. They really seem to want to make sure the corpsmembers thrive and will teach you the meaning of Respect, Loyolty, Community and what it really means to be a conservationist! San Luis Obispo is one of the best places on earth! And its center one of the best CCC centers with some of the kindest people.
It was great to meet the crew taking care of one of our favorite trails in Atascadero, California. The core works hard and on this hot muggy day they had already accomplished a lot. Trail work is important and we're glad for the help.
