2The service here is amazing, I always get a response to needing a court reporter for a deposition. I personally want to shout out Andrew. He is always nice, helpful, and helped me out when needed in a pinch! If you are needing a court reporting service, this is the place to go! They will help you out right away!
Stay away from this unethical company! My firm needed a Court reporter for a hearing the following day. My assistant contacted California Deposition Reporters and they arranged for a Court reporter for the following day. What they did not know or inform us of is that the Court will not accept a remote Court reporter. Yet, their Court reporter appeared remotely. Because their Court reporter appeared remotely, we were unable to use the Court reporting services. When we canceled the Court reporter upon discovering that they were appearing remotely, we subsequently received a BILL FOR $6,250! At no point prior to booking the Court reporter were we given a fee schedule. At no point prior to booking the Court reporter were we told that a full day is the insane amount of $6,250! Every other Court reporting company will charge between $250 to $500 for a canceled appointment. I offered Jamie, the President of the company, $1,000 to resolve the issue. He refused and would rather litigate the issue.
I intend to inform every attorney that I know that this company is completely unethical. Do not use them!
