California Fish Grill

Quality food throughout the chain as far as I've experienced. This location is a bit cramped. Likely because the food is tasty and fresh.

My mom and I had an amazing meal and positive experience while ordering online at one of our local restaurants. We were worried that our meals would be missing something and not prepared the way we like it. Our food was cooked to perfection and prepared in a speedy time. The seasoning was just right, not too salty nor too bland. The meal portions were excellent for the price. When we arrived for pick up, the restaurant associates were very friendly and helpful. We assumed the wait to be a while considering that they had a busy night. To our surprise, the wait to receive our meal was not long at all. The prices were very reasonable, the location was very clean, and the restaurant's atmosphere was very relaxed and accommodating. This was my first time trying out this restaurant and I was very pleased. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to others!

Every time I place an order there is items missing. I call to let them know and they still continue to make the same mistake.

The food a good.
The workers are on the go.
The service could be better.
But above it all its a great place.
I will definitely come back here again.
And take food to go too

This particular food venue did not notify its customers that it didn't have catfish at this time. I stood in line 15 minutes to order food, to be told mo catfish. They have too many young people working there, who are not aware they should either cover the item so that customers are aware they are out of an item, or put something at the entrance to alert customers to lack of items

I placed my order to dine in and saw other customers order and get their food before me. I waited too long and never got my food. I had to ask for my money back and went somewhere else.

Stafffs is a valuable asset to the restaurant and deserves high praise. Without a doubt, you will never be disappointed! A big thumbs up.

I love this place because everything is fresh. This visit I ordered the shrimp skewers. They were great. The great thing is that most places only put 4 or 5 shrimp per skewer. California fish grill gives you plenty of shrimp per skewer. Thank you staff for the great service.

I don't use tartar sauce on my fish, I think it's vile. 4 or more malt vinegar packs, please, and thank you! All while smiling behind the mask because we are in the middle of a pandemic, I was raised to be respectful and there are no condiments out for me to get on my own.
I arrive home, open my takeout - Fish and chips, 2 sides, lemon, 4 tartar sauces, an extra side I didn't order or pay for, and 0 packages of malt vinegar.

So 0 of what I need, 4 vile containers of white goo and an extra side that is probably missing from someone else's order.

To the establishment, please pay attention, you're dealing with people's food. To the patrons, check everything, they obviously can't count.

Very tasty, juicy fresh fish I ordered by Uber eats very safe and good presentation.
I highly recommend white white fish with diced zucchini. Is so delicious. If you are visiting Downey please step by

I like CFG food but I've been here twice and both times the chicken, shrimp and fish were overcooked! I will just go to the one in Cerritos or Gardena

The food is always cooked well and tastes great. I work near by, so I do a lot of take away from them. My orders are always fulfilled quickly and always correct. Yummy all around!

This is the BEST for the old fashioned fish and chips! At least 3 times a week!

I definitely will try more of the menu, but I'm so enchanted with what I get now!
