This facility is not open to the public. It is a shared facility between CHP and Caltrans. It houses the CHP Communication Center. For regular service you will need to go to the Santa Ana or San Juan Capistrano CHP office.

This department harasses car enthusiasts and acts as private security for the residents of the nearby canyons. Pathetic waste of tax payer money as per usual.

Looking for an organization that doesn’t know their hole from their elbows!? You came to the right spot. Good luck.

Highway Patrol Irvine saved our day. Our RV broke down on the side of the busy 241 toll road and they were able to assist in various ways.
They sent Officer Lenert who pushed us to a safer location. When we found out that the tow truck sent by our insurance was gonna take 2 hours, he quickly arranged for one to come to our aide in 15 minutes. After we were secured to travel to a repair shop, he safe transported our teens and infant daughter complete with infant car seat installation.
We are so grateful for you help today.

Around 4: 45 this afternoon as I got on-ramp on Fwy 5 northbound from Culver Drive Irvine, I noticed that all northbound vehicles stopped; when I drove cautiously to a stop, my wife and I noticed a CHP vehicle stopped in the middle of freeway with flash lights on and a lady CHP officer was pulling a heavy and torn mattress by herself from the middle of freeway to the right shoulder; then she got into her vehicle and drove north to the next off-ramp at Jamboree Road.
I want to applaud the selfless, coutageous and great lady officer who dedicated herself to the public safety for having saved many commuters and vehicles from getting into big accidents and for having saved many lives this afternoon. Her courageous act will be remembered by me and my wife forever!
Thank you Lady Officer! Though we don't know your name, we admire your dedication and courage!
Sincerely,
Rudy & Marina Widjaja

Ok so this isn't an office. It's barely marked and you have to go through a security gate before leaving the parking lot. So you press a button to announce yourself and I am there to place an incident report. The voice states: "this is not the place for that. " Of course, I explain, the 800 number says I have to make the report in person. "Go elsewhere. " Wow, got it.ok.
