California IVF Fertility Center Sacramento

My husband and I were referred to California IVF after experiencing several years of infertility. The team was excellent to us, working with our schedules to get us in ASAP and answering the many questions we had about the process. Dr. Zeringue is an absolute professional and was able to maximize our odds of success using cutting edge research and practices, which I really appreciated given the cost and stress of the whole process! While we’ve recently graduated from their program we’d definitely go back to California IVF in the future!

Graduated from this clinic with twins. Dr. Zeringue and his staffs were all very professional. Had a very good overall experience.

I do not recommend IVF Fertility Center. After my first appointment, I did regret to waste my time:
1- I have checked w/ them if they have received my MRI from Kaiser, they said yes, but they did not.
2- My first appointment was @ 3 pm, but I had to wait for an hour, no one was sorry. When I asked them how longer I have to wait, they said the Dr. Zeringue is busy now. They do not care abt patient's time & money, but they ONLY care abt their time. If the doctor is busy why do they accept a new patient? Did I have to wait for more than an hour having an appointment?
3-Finally when they called me, I did not understand why the patient coordinator showed me the clinic's rooms, why? Nothing special about the rooms. I felt, she is a real estate agent, giving me a home tour while I was tired after waiting for an hour for my appointment.
4- Even though, I have clearly mentioned the main reason of my appointment, the patient coordinator (Dionne) spent another 40-50 minutes giving me a presentation, about things I have already aware of that. It is obvious, that she was just trying to sell me an embryo pkg w/ a skyrocket price compare to the other IVF clinics, but that was not the purpose of my appointment. She took 50 min of my appointment time. By the time the Dr. Zeringue showed up, I was almost tired. He responded to some of my questions, but he could not help much while they did not have my MRI while they told me they have it.
Dr. Zeringue did not help much about my main medical issues but just responded to my general questions only. And he added that he can do an UltraSound while i did not see that necessary (cannot explain it why for privacy), when I was a little concern about the price, he said " it is okay, the insurance pays it".
I was sure that they do not care about my time or money, they are like a business than medical.
Long story short, Next day after 40 minutes one-way drive, I dropped my MRI CD, waiting for the Dr. Zeringue to email/ contact me to give his opinion on the images. For more than a week, the clinic's phone service was out of service. "Lack of Technology". Finally, i emailed the billing dept, Dionne, finally called me, when I asked for Dr. 's email, she said she cannot give me his email, because the doctor is busy. I asked her email, she said, she cannot give me her email either. Imagine, as a patient you cannot contact your doctor. Dionne, asked me " what do I expect from Dr. Zeringue for contacting me? ", that was such a STUPID question. What the patient/s expect from the Dr.when dropping MRI? So, If I was a doctor myself, why should I have to go to another doctor? For business? So that they can charge me, that is okay because my insurance pay?
I am going to another Fertility center, they have the portal which is secure. They respond to the patient questions waiting 24-48 hours. You can call them, you can email the doctors.
Their clinic rooms are clean and bright with good machines.
At this clinic, the room was so dark, and she gave me a clinic tour for a few minutes, that is ridiculous.

Dionne, the patient coordinator took more than an hour of my appointment time, but she refused to give me her email for my questions on MRI. Dr. Zeringue did not get back to me to give his opinion on my MRI after a week.
I could clearly see the RED FLAGS from the beginning. They do not have a good communication channels, not a secure portal, however, they do care about your insurance.
I asked them to send back my MRI CD, they did not, despite of asking Dionne several times. She asked me to fill out the consent form for giving back my CD which I dropped it by myself, LOL, how stupid is this?
I asked them to delete all my medical data which they have got from Kaiser, they have not done it yet and I have not heard back from them.
There are many better Fertility Center in the area which respect your time and money, do not waste your time here.
My experience was not pleasant, all was stressful.

I’ve been using this fertility clinic for about 3 years now. I have had great success, and so have the families I have donated for. I LOVE Veronika and the rest of the staff! They make me feel like a rockstar and part of the family. It’ll be a sad day when I can no longer donate. I’ve truly loved being apart of the IVF journey and this team makes dreams come true. I highly recommended CA IVF Fertility Center to anyone curious about donation or IVF in general.

Front desk workers should be present at the front desk. It’s not rocket science

Do not use this fertility clinic if you are queer, a single woman over 30 or any person looking for a warm & thoughtful experience.i'm a 40 year old queer butch latina and i went to this in the early stages of my parenthood journey.first of all, my doctor was a joyless elderly doctor who believed himself to be the authority on my body. He immediately began pushing me towards IVF at $35k a pop and said that at 39, my eggs were basically borderline useless. The intrauterine exam he gave me, with a nurse present, was also very depressing and he made comments on how worthless my eggs were.

All this when I came in full of hope and excitement. All he wanted to do was push me to IVF and make me spend thousands of thousands of dollars. He didn't listen at all and actually made me feel like i was stupid for thinking i could conceive without some medical/technological miracle.i hated the energy.i hated his attitude so i left and never looked back.i found female midwives & queer doulas who uplifted my body and my age.who didn't doubt that i could conceive.and i found doctors who affirmed that my eggs were perfect & full of life.i found a supportive donor and got pregnant THE FIRST TIME we tried insemination.my midwife, my partner and my donor were all so joyful and full of care.my healthy gorgeous beautiful baby is 8 months old and i'm so glad i followed my heart.the only plus about this place is that the front desk staff are super kind.they should be the ones in charge of the care tbh.find a midwife, a doula, someone else besides the doctors at this dreary money grubbing place.
