I feel like the trainers don’t really care about the dogs and the results. We spent $3000+ here and our dog still has bad behaviors. The trainers do not follow up and just focuses on what’s happening now. One trainer even yelled at me because my dog peed on an outside large bucket and I was not quick enough to pull him away. I preferred Ty the Dog Guy trainers in Fremont more and saw actual results there.

I saw you on Dr. Phil Jas and I'd like to hear how Pitbulls are bred to fight each other? Is this misinformed information and your opinion? Are all pitbulls really bred to fight other pitbulls?

I watch their videos everyday and helps with my training. I'm currently going to school for dog training and when I'm done I will be ordering their training as well. I love how real they are and how they take their time to show techniques! Definitely recommend them if you want to train your dog.

Great trainers. Dog is really progressing well. Pro-tip, they have a parking lot out back on 2nd street

Great tips, too much backstory on the star instead of just focusing on the dog stuff. But, I will say, he knows his stuff! I've used many of his tips and they work!

I love this place. The trainers Nick, and Juan are the best. They are super knowledgeable, and every action that they do is for the safety of the pups that they train, and as the pups go out into the world. And as a base line Its refreshing to see BIPOC trainers.

Just presenting the facts and you be the judge if he ethics of this company are worth trusting your family dog with. We had purchased a quite expensive training package for your dog. Meanwhile she sadly passed away from renal issues. In between, her getting sick and then passing away, us dealing with the deep sadness for sometime. Then CaliK9 not responding to our requests and Jax himself ghosting us, they wouldn't refund us. And now they claim too much time as passed that refunds aren't eligible. If this company has this low morals for some cash, why would they treat your family member with higher morals and care.

I loved the Netflix series. I hope they bring it back. People complaining about cruelty must be watching some other show because this show is heart-warming with all the love and kindness

Absolutely horrible— if i could give negative stars, I WOULD.i pass by this area on my way home and the amount of distress i see the dogs kept here in is absolutely horrifying.in a record-breaking heatwave, these dogs were kept outside with no apparent water or shade.these dogs are boarded for long periods of time in extreme heat and are verbally/physically abused for crying.every time i pass by, i hear these dogs crying and barking.i even witnessed one of the dogs being hit one time.this place advertises themselves as a place where dogs can be safely trained in a good environment, but it’s the complete opposite.i feel horrible for the dogs there and i am in disbelief that i almost brought my dogs to be trained there.unless you want you beloved pet abused, DONT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE.

Terrible customer service before, during and after booking their $3K 2-week-long board and train program for the weeks before and after Labor Day. They didn't give me any updates while my sweet and loving dog was boarded for 4 days and, per their own account, she had not been eating from day one. They also claim that my 15lb mini Labradoodle was "extremely aggressive" towards the trainers (she's NEVER been aggressive, just leash reactive towards some large dogs) and yet they gave her a bath before discharging her in the morning of day 5 - I still wonder, how can you bathe a dog that is trying to bite you? !

As you can imagine, my dog was absolutely terrified and lethargic when picked up after getting a voicemail where they said it was "an emergency, " and to get there "as fast as humanly possible, " yet it had taken them 4 days to reach out?

After this, they provided awful and slow communication to the point I had to message Jas Leverette (the owner) on Instagram to ask him to get his team to reply to my email about what had happened during those 4 days. I was able to prove that they had broken their own B&T Agreement and they refunded me, but they never even replied to my last email. It shows pure disregard for customers.

Also, note that "balanced training, " which is offered at Cali K9, is a euphemism for reward and punishment, which I didn't know, and that they may use slip leads and vibration collars to train dogs - it's in their policies on their website, you can check them out. Lastly, they don't show you the kennels where the dogs rest. That's a huge red flag, and I should have known better.

I do not recommend. AT ALL.

We took our dog Fox to Cali almost four years ago. Fox is a rescue dog from a shelter that had been picked up off the streets with a dog bite, he presented as very dog aggressive. Not only did Cali K9 help Fox learn basic obedience but they also made it possible for him to meet, and even feel comfortable with other dogs. Cali K9 really helped save his life, we are now Fostering two GSDs that are reactive and because of the skills we learned Fox is able to be around them and we are able to help our two new fosters learn confidence and to be safe around dogs. I highly recommend this program to any person with a reactive dog, or any person who wants to lay the foundations for great dog behavior for the rest of their pets life.

Our 1st in person session with Nick. Went very well. I like the balance of work and play. It encourages Luna. Doesn't hurt that Luna is cookie motivated.

I feel bad for the dogs going through this training program. I observed one of the trainers using rough and cruel handling of a puppy. The trainer had walked this puppy away from the main street on Lincoln Ave so other could not see what he was going to do. This trainer did not realize I could see him. At first, the puppy was happily walking along on leash - the puppy was pulling and jumpy and definitely did not have this walking on a leash thing down. The trainer pulled and popped up on the puppy's prong collar and the puppy was still rambunctious on leash. The trainer then started to repeatedly pop on the puppy's prong collar, scold the puppy and used physical force with the puppy. The puppy changed from being happy to being afraid. This was very hard to watch. I wrote about this incident on yelp, but Cali K9 had the review removed because I was not an actual customer. I still think about that puppy and I hope he/she did not have life long issues because of this cruel treatment.

The show was good but when I called their number on their website for information it went to a voice mail and it's been several weeks I still have not gotten a call back.
