California Karate Academy

I am so thankful that I found California Karate Academy, my daughter attends classes in the Vista studio, and all the instructors are extremely professional, passionate, helpful and friendly. My daughter looks forward to going to her classes every week and as a parent you really appreciate how they teach the kids about self awareness and respect and responsibility. They do an amazing job with reminding our kids that they don’t just need to show respect and responsibility in the studio with the instructors but also at home with parents and at school, everywhere and with everyone. My daughter Mia, remembers all the little lessons they talk about during class and I have seen a huge improvement at home. They have different times to choose from that works with busy schedules, they really value and notice our children’s potentials and push them to be great. I am thankful that Mia gets to train with strong women instructors that make her feel empowered and she gets to meet girls and boys of all ages that they all admire each others work and form friendships. Thank you CALIFORNIA KARATE ACADEMY!

I’ve taken my son to California Karate Academy for a couple years, closing in on 3. This is hands down one of the best places you can take your child to learn martial arts, acquire discipline, and to just have fun.

Every single instructor there is top notch and really care about the progress of your child. You can tell they all have a deep love for training, teaching, and inspire the kids to have the same. Head instructors Mikita (both of them), as well as Master Arango are excellent–lots of attention to details and making sure your kid is becoming something more.

My kid is in their Black Belt Program which is amazing! Not only does he learn karate, but weapons training and Brazilian jiu-jitsu as well. In addition, to regular training they have summer camps and Ninja Nights which my son always looks forward too.

I’ve seen a dramatic change in my son’s character, as well as a drive to become a good martial artist. He’s taken so much off of the mats, and has applied that same drive and discipline to other areas in his life. This is also encouraged by their star program.

Could not recommend more for any parent looking for a great karate/BJJ school to place their child in. Amazing studio.
