From our perspective they are reckless and incompetent. They were hired for two different construction projects on Iowa Avenue in West Los Angeles. Both projects were supposed to just take a few weeks to complete but both dragged on for months, apparently because they kept failing to pass inspections and had to redo everything. They have now just left the mess there at Iowa and Stoner. There has been a lack of public access to the sidewalks for nearly half a year, which is a huge problem for disabled residents in particular. It endangers everyone's safety as kids and all others passing through are forced into the street. The whole neighborhood shouldn't have to suffer because of the decision to hire this company.

Edit: This review is accurate. As stated, their work failed to pass inspections. The developers want to blame CA Paving and Grading, CA Paving and Grading wants to blame them. They are the ones listed as being responsible for this work. It's their responsibility to stay on top of it and get the job done. I'll be happy to change the review once the work is finally finished.

Does not show up as scheduled with no communication. Short for words. They were to be completely done by 11am yesterday. There were 3 different crews and parking was closed all day. It is far from finish, no communication from owner. Today is trash day and street cleaning. I opened parking.

They've been working outside our complex for over two months on a simple sidewalk replacement. On average, they've been once a week about a half of a single day. We can't enough park our own parking area for a week now. Haven't seen anyone here in nearly three days. I'm trying to find out if these are city contracts. If so, the city needs to check into this.
