UPDATE: I remain extremely pleased with California Pet Pharmacy (CPP). One of our dogs is now taking not only Vetmedin & Enalapril, but also Cerenia, for his heart condition. We order these medications, as well as the dogs' Heartgard Plus & Comfortis, from CPP. There have been two times when the Vetmedin was not available or was only sold in limited quantities, but that is not the fault of CPP; that was Vetmedin's manufacturer's problems with making & distributing it. CPP has been very good to get our orders processed & shipped to us. The only problems we have experienced have been due to the fact that our veterinarian's office does not respond to fax requests for prescriptions & is very slow to respond to other ways of requesting the prescriptions period; again, not CPP's fault. When I can stay on our vet's office, our orders ship out rapidly. In fact, I've sometimes called CPP & spoken with a representative who has used another phone line to call our vet's office to get a verbal approval/prescription for the medication. Then, it immediately ships out. CPP has the best prices on these medications that keep our dog alive! I'm grateful for them.

I have relied on California Pet Pharmacy (CPP) for several years to ensure our two dogs’ total health. While I had previously tried a few different online pharmacies, I have always found CPP to be THE best source, in terms of quality, ease of ordering & delivery & affordability. I get both dogs’ Heartgard Plus & Comfortis from them, as well as Vetmedin & Enalapril for our one dog who has a heart issue. I have found CPP to provide extremely efficient & timely service. Now that they have added online account features, i.e, you create your account, which includes your pets’ names, medical conditions & medications needed, along with veterinarian’s information, it is an easy, seamless process to order & receive needed medications. I recommend CPP wholeheartedly!

Cheaper than going to the vet, not to mention, saving time so you don't have to go anywhere and sit and wait. Comes right to your door in a timely manner. I am very happy with them.

Wonderful pricing on a prscritpion medication I need for one of my dogs. VEry easy to establish the account; CPP efficiently contacted my vet to approve the prescritive order and I had the medication iwithin 3 business ships.

Extremely satisfied with the service I have been getting for my dog's medications. Dog (that's his name) was diagnosed with DCM and the medications were difficult to find locally. One call to CPP and ONE entry of his medication from the vet's office and we're set. Excellent customer service and honestly, despite a warning about long delivery times - they're always on time. Their service is quick and the delivery is always on time. No problem ordering on-line. If my Wally needs his prescription to be renewed, the Pharmacy handles it by communicating with his doctor (s) at Banfield.

Wouldn't even give 1 star if I didn't have to. I placed an order online in which I paid $35 extra dollars for my item to be overnighted. I never got an email confirming my purchase but my card was charged. I emailed them today to verify they received my order. I received an email back stating its actually going to be $45 instead of $35 for the shipping and it will not be overnighted like their website states but instead 1-2 business days. Also there was no remorse or apologies in the email. Awful customer service. Do not recommend. They stated my card has not been charged yet but it has.

EIGHT DAYS! 8 DAYS, AFTER I PLACED AN ORDER, AND 6 DAYS AFTER MY VETERINARIAN OFFICE SUBMITTED PRESCRIPTIONS, CALIFORNIA PET PHARMACY HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. HASN'T EVEN CONSIDERED SHIPPING THE MEDICATIONS I ORDERED.
This is grossly incompetent and clearly disdain for their customer base. Outright disrespect. (Although I have gotten AN AWFUL LOT OF SPAM EMAILS since I gave them my email address.)
I have attempted repeatedly to contact them and GET NOTHING BUT SPAM EMAILS IN RESPONSE.
Including a great many emails from them trying to get me to order from them again so they can again ignore me and my pets' needs.
You should definitely order medications for your animals from california pet pharmacy if you want to be COMPLETELY IGNORED AND RECEIVE NOTHING!
