California Pizza Kitchen at 53 Third Street

Every time I place an order from the third St restaurant, they always miss placing an item in my bag.which causes me to either have to come back & pick it up or go somewhere else. They need to start double checking all items before placing them in the to go bags!

Great and I mean great healthy food choices here. I have never had anything that was not really good and fresh. It can get really crowded and it is annoying having to carry that damn tray around and look for a table but I really like this place so I do what I have to do to have some damn good fresh food.

Pizzas are not very big. Crust is thin. Maybe some like that. Toppings is not a lot and price is approx $20. Over priced.

I came to this California Pizza kitchen on veterans day. They offered me a free meal and gave me excellent service.once I got in there it only took me two minutes to get seated once I got the attention of one of the attendants. There are bathrooms available here and it is handicap accessible. The waiter was very helpful and I was so happy with the service that I ordered something on top of the free meal just so I can give them a tip. This California Pizza kitchen honors veterans every year. They are very health conscious and are very safe about the covid situation constantly reminding people to put on masks if they're not eating. Occasionally a waiter will talk too long with another client though, probably a return customer. It took me awhile to flag them down but I was in a hurry and needed to leave.if I didn't need to leave so soon it wouldn't have been a big deal and I wouldn't have pointed it out.

Not sure if it is this franchise or CPK in general, but the pizzas seem increasingly smaller with less ingredients. Within a short range there are a handful of places that serve better pizzas for the price.

It had been years since I went to CPK. I ordered takeout, and everything was on point. Service was friendly, my order was ready on time and the food hit the spot and fulfilled my pizza craving. Avocado club egg rolls are dangerously good.

We came right before 11: 30 as one of my coworkers who'd been here already had said that the place can get crowded fast. There was already a line of about four or so people in front of us when we arrived.

Solid deepdish pizza. I found myself comparing it to chicago and that knocked off a star. Still one of the better deep dish pizzas avail in sf. But if you have been to malnattis in chiraq, this isn't better. Beats giordanos however. One 9" pizza is enough for 2 hungry people. If you go alone there will be leftovers.

A good local place away from the touristy stuff, but still close to the painted ladies. Super filling deep dish pizza that tastes super fresh. Place doesn't look so inviting from the outside, but glad some locals tipped me off.
