Been a patient for over 5yrs and everyone is always courteous and helpful. Medical staff care and are compassionate towards patient needs. No concern is too small or too big, and they're always willing to help and offer guidance.

Everyone is very kind and professional. I have seen Dr Crockett and Dr Cabral. I give them both high marks.

They are very detailed in having me use an iPad to give my medical history. The doctor answered all my questions. The front desk people were helpful with questions I had.

My wife had a procedure done here on her foot. The procedure and everything was fine but the follow-up and healing process was super painful. She could not walk properly for more than 2 months due to the wound not having healed nor showing progress of healing. And despite following up with the office about a month in, we were advised twice that "it seems to be healing fine", and were told to just let it be.

We had to get a second opinion from a different dermatologist and they helped my wife properly clean the wound, which drastically helped her wound heal. Within a week, the wound had healed much better and she can start walking again.

Very Friendly staff! They were also quick and efficient. My skin exam went by fast but I’m glad I got it done and have piece of mind that my skin is healthy.

I had a great experience the Dr is great and the wait time isn’t long you are in and out. The people working there are great too.

I have been going to California Skin Institute for over 10 years. Dr. Crockett is an excellent doctor and has always been very kind to me. I appreciate his excellent work and generosity. He truly cares about his patients. And the staff is very professional and courteous. I highly recommend California Skin Institute.

Had a follow-up visit with Dr. Crockett and was made to wait 45 mins for apparently no reason. There were 4 people at the front desk (including one trainee) and they were all clueless what’s going on. The staff person who checked me in saw me sitting for a while and patients with later appointments saw the doctor before me. For another patient, they were confused how much to bill them for the services provided and were going back and forth with the back office. I haven’t seen such a mismanaged doctor’s office before. My time is as important as anyone else’s’ and waiting that long for a quick 5 minute follow up was infuriating. Definitely not coming back here. They either need to train the staff properly or hire quality over quantity. This review is just for the front office staff and not Dr. Crockett.

I would recommend this institute.

Easy, smooth checkin, was seen 10 min after arrival. Doc asked me what my issues were, listened attentively and took quick action to resolve. In and out easy peasy!

The facility is clean and neat. The doctor is very approachable and has great bedside manner with patient (me). I had a very positive first visit experience.

I can always trust Dr. Crockett, his diagnose of my allergy is to the point. I got much better now after his prescription.

Quick response time and short, efficient visit. Dr. Crockett was able to assist me with my needs quickly and create a treatment plan moving forward. The reception staff was friendly as well.

This is the first time I came to the California Skin Institute due to a skin problem. I was very pleased with my experience. I was able to get an appointment within a few days if calling. The receptionists were friendly and professional. Dr Zhu was pleasant, professional, and did a thorough examination. He prescribed a treatment plan that was effective and I am very happy with their service. I highly recommend them.

This is a very nice place to go for all of your skin care problems, everyone is very professional and very nice. I give them 5 Stars every time I visit them for all of my skin problems.

Dr. Crockett was quick, to the point and has a nice bedside manner as my mother would say! Addressed my issue and froze a little skin tag right then as he didn't want me to come back just for that.

Absolutely a very pleasant experience. The waiting room is clean and comfortable, the wait was short, the assistant nurse was very nice and helpful, and the doctor was even nicer and competent. The whole experience was as pleasant as a doctors office visit could be.
