Calistoga Creamery reviews
18We’ve tried this ice cream on two trips now and both times we ended up tossing it out. Who tosses out or refuses to eat ice cream? Disappointing as this is a great location.
Loved the ice cream here. Especially nice to find some creative, not just the norm flavors! Delicious!
Loved pistachio ice cream with freshly made waffle cone. Ice cream had loads of pistachio!
One of the best ice cream I have had. The lemon ice cream has chucks of cookie in it all I can say is WOW! Along with the waffle cone which was amazing. The owner was so friendly and made the experience that much better.
Delicious delicious ice cream on a very hot day and they let you have samples, because it's so difficult to make a decision on what flavor you would like because they are all so yummy.
AMAZING waffle cones. And if you miss three twins, the ice cream here will not disappoint. The lemon cookie almost brought me to tears. Never thought I’d be able to have it again: ’) easily my favorite ice cream place in the valley. Worth every minute of the 60 minute round trip it takes to get some.
The ice cream was good though they didn't have a lot of options. I don't like the way they pressure you to leave a tip.
Lots of good flavors, service was very friendly, a little on the expensive side, must be because Calistoga is a tourist hub
Cute little ice cream shop with seasonal flavors! Has a nice patio on the side. A line out the door on busy weekends.
Thick and creamy! My 6 year old was very pleased with his lemon and raspberry dessert. Will return.
Amazing, fresh, real and delicate flavors. Organic ingredients and wonderful, friendly service.
Good ice cream, person very nice, but she needs to change gloves when handling money and ice cream cones at the same time.
I decided to change this to a 5* review just becuase of how home made the ice cream here tastes. It's really great.
We stopped in with our two kids and received terrible customer service. My son was handed his cone and he went to take a normal lick (not rough in any way) and his scoop immediately fell right off the cone onto the floor. It was right in front of the employee and extremely obvious that it was due to it not being pushed onto the cone properly. My husband picked it up and threw it out and she asked if we wanted another scoop so we said yeah assuming she was just replacing it. When she told us the total I questioned why it was so much and she said well we have to charge you for the dropped scoop. She then went on to say that if he had dropped it outside she would have replaced it but since it was inside the store she couldn’t, which makes even less sense. The fact that it fell right off, first lick, shows it was their fault. I questioned her and she again said sorry we have to charge you. Unbelievable, that is a terrible way to treat a customer.
Michael is a wonderful person and is passionate about organic ice cream. We love that he makes delicious gluten free cones.
They serve Three Twins ice cream. Service was good and they give samples in this era of COVID. That's not so common in this 2021 timeframe. They also included the waffle cone slice with the ice cream scoop at no extra charge.
I liked their sandwich board though - see photos.
4 stars only because the ice cream is a brand you can find at other places.
Why does the shop smell so AMAZING? Because they make their own waffle cones. Please go here and get their homemade waffle cones with any kind of ice cream, just go ahead and get 2 scoops, you deserve it.
