Caló Kitchen + Tequila reviews
21I was taken to this lovely restaurant on a beautiful date night and it really helped to set the mood. We didn't have a res so there was about a 20min wait but they were really nice about it. The ambiance was warm with enough heat lamps for every table. It had a low lit, sexy, vibey seating area outside and options to sit inside as well. We chose to sit outside and it was pretty cozy. We ordered the vegetarian tacos and enchiladas recommended by our amazing waitress Lupe since it was our first time. Once we told her we wanted veggies only she saved the day by letting us know we were about to eat non vegetarian beans! Whew that was close. Anyway, I can't remember if there was any music but honestly the mood was chill so we didn't even need any! Id definitely go back & enjoy this gem again:)
Angel was the best bartender!
It was my first visit, and he made watching him make drinks so much fun while sitting at the bar.
Shake-ah! Shake-ah! Shake-ah!
I'd come back in a heartbeat!
Definitely a great place to stop by while in El Segundo. Great food and drinks! Tucked away gem!
Looking for the best Chimichanga in LA. You've found it! Caio's Kitchen brought the taste fresh taste of Mexico to my plate and left me wanting more. The salsa Verde was the best I ever had with the red rice and perfectly seasoned chicken. Service was friendly and attentive. The music and atmosphere was comfy but fun. Can't wait to go back.
Muy delicioso, best rice and beans I’ve had and the short rib enchiladas were bomb. Service was amazing
Most dishes have pork contained, including enchilada sauce, rice, and black beans. They also didn't even have ranch dressing for the salad. It was very hard for me to find something to eat.
The waitress and bartender were attentive and nice about explaining the menu. She explained the vegetarian options, mainly white rice, whole pinto beans, and salad were about it. If you don't eat pork, steer away from here.
But if you do eat pork and like friendly service and tasty mixed drinks, Calo may be your place. The chips and salsa are super tasty, too!
Ari has such a beautiful heart and is such an awesome waitress and has made my night and experience so much better, such an amazing person! <3-
This place is amazing, the service is phenomenal and food is absolutely delicious. Will definitely visit again soon!

Would go again!
OMG so wonderful. V. A.is the best he was on point with every thing and management is the best. Will definitely be back soon
This was my first dining experience at Calo and a very special one. My family and I were celebrating the birthday of my brother who passed away. Not only did our server, Ana come across so sincere she brought my family complimentary desserts with a card signed by all the servers and sang happy birthday. This was one of the most thoughtful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Ana went above and beyond to make our family feel special and it was truly appreciated.
Delish! I love the ability to join the waitlist while being in the area. Short rib enchiladas. YUM! Chefs kiss.
I visited Calo last week and was helped by Kyla. She delivered excepcional service. Aside from the food the service was great! Can’t wait to go back
I did a quick dip into this place just cuz I saw birria on the menu and it was pretty good. It's listed as an appetizer, but we each ordered one as our entree. Comes with 5 tacos and consumme. Not the best birria I've had though. I was told this was a new item so they might still be working out the kinks. The tortilla could've been a little crunchier and the consumme wasn't as homey like it is at more casual places like Papi's in Norwalk.
Our waitress, Keilah was great. Really helpful, really friendly, and really funny. She definitely added to the atmosphere.
We didn't need a reservation. We just walked in. We were seated on the 2nd floor. There's an elevator that takes you up. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere here though. I would like to come back at some point and maybe taste some of the dishes that have been on the menu for a while. Maybe I'll go back and try the ribeye tacos or something!
We had the best waiter, Angel. We had a great corner table, with a breeze. What could be better? Oh, and tasty food.
Vibrant Mexican scene in a location you might not expect. The menu is above average for Mexican fare and the range of drinks is top class. Service was extremely good and friendly. I'll go back
This is absolutely wonderful restaurant, great food and service. Their free appetizer is delicious!
