Calvary Chapel Mountain View

I travel the wold for work as a powerlineman while at the same time fulfill missionary work. I was told to visit a church on the hill. I walked to the countrer requested some direction was asked if this was my first time and gave me a welcome bag asking me to sign a book and put on a mask before go in.
They had a mesage that held truth buy it was a short message due to longer music time then I would prefer (because I personaly enjoy more feeding time from Gods word) I was sadened to walk in and sit through service then for a short meal after (celebrating the 2 guest speakers they had) and walk out with out any member or staff welcoming me other then the 2 visiting speakers (the guest missionaries) who had greeted me in the restroom, (who said they noticed my bright gift bag that I was carrying around with me) and as we walked out talking a woman who seemed to have some authority in the church saw us having a conversation and interrupted to pull them both out side to mingle. I waited in line to get a plate only because one person walked past me and said to another not to forget to try the food on the way out. I even offered to help the servers with the food all this while still holding me new welcome bag.
I then sat ate and walked out with feeling alone and isolated never being really noticed or truly welcomed. Might have been a off day and i get it but I did not feel true genuine spirit while visiting. I always try places 2x if I get back too that area for work I'll try going once again!

Nice, small, lightly attended church. Live music with a piano and guitar. Contempory christian music. Friendly group. Pastor is down to earth and presented a good topic.
