HONEST! GENUINE! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE CLEAR COMMUNICATION PHENOMENAL MECHANICS and AMAZING STAFF! I want to apologize for the long review, but I just feel it is so needed.
I Brought my car in after a car accident and I was already dreading the process of trying to find the right place to service my car. I have to say as a business owner, I know what great customer service looks like and how it should feel and I have to say they exceeded my expectations! If you are looking for a place to help you whether you’ve been in a car accident or other types of services that they offer, I would say you don’t need to look any further.
I have posted before and Afters of my Jeep for you to see the external fixing. It drives so smooth as well! Better then before my accident!
Robert, was the initial person who greeted me and also checked me out when my car was done! He took the time to explain what had been fixed including a detailed invoice with everything that the mechanics had worked on. He reassured me again that if I need anything to come in and they will address it (according to what they worked on)
Keila was the front desk and cashier and she was so sweet and her smile brightened my day when I walked in initially, and when picking up my car. I have to say, and just let everybody at CARSTAR know how much I appreciate and am grateful to all the details customers like me and I’m sure others out there need to know.
All of the staff was very kind. They even sent me a driver to pick me up to take me to the shop when time for pickup. I always knew what was going on throughout the whole process and had very clear and concise communication. Robert, made me feel reassured from the beginning until the end.
I’ve never been so happy with the results that I have seen and also with the care that I received.

I have to say thank you so much to all the staff involved. Truly, EVERYONE at CARSTAR is committed to excellence!
I hope this review helps somebody out there, who is struggling to find the right place. Thanks again! God bless!

My car was towed in for repair after an accident. The car was totaled by the insurance company. However, everyone at Camarillo Autobody was very helpful & friendly in explaining all processes.

I was dealing with Bobby and he was very friendly and helpful. He kept me updated on my cars status so there was no surprises on when the car was gonna be done. I work with cars for a living and was very happy with how my car came out the blend matched the car so doesn’t look like one section is newer than the other. When getting a car repainted it’s never perfect wherever you go but they made sure to get it pretty close. Definitely would highly recommend them. Thank you again Bobby and your team for the amazing work!

Bobby Herrera performed excellent work on my car but desperately lacked communication skills. He told me that he would call me when I could drop my car off, and never did. A week later, I finally called him. The day before I was supposed to pick up my car, he refused to give me my car until he received extra money from my insurance company, yet he never called my insurance company or me to tell us that he needed additional funds. He did not communicate with my insurance company throughout the entire process or with me, and I’ve had to call multiple times about conflicts that he should have called and told me about days in advance, not right before my pickup date. Due to his lack of communication, my car did not feel important, making me feel like an unvalued customer. Bobby Herrera did not provide quality customer service, hence the reason for one star.

My car was at this auto shop for about 3 weeks getting a repair, work was done great. My car looks brand new again. Only thing I didn’t like was having to go back because a missing part needed on my car, waste of my time and gas. Also to find out a few days after my repair my gas handle won’t open.

So I called and talked to the receptionist and asked for Bobby to call me back, he did not. So I called them and asked for Bobby the next day. When Bobby came to the phone he said that he forgot to call me. Going forward I asked him about how quickly I could get my car in, and out of his shop and he said that he was booked for weeks and it wouldn't be until the end of April? I have got to say that the customer service definitely is an issue, you need to step it up a bit!

I would give 0 stars if i could. No communication whatsoever from them. Took over a week for simple service. They are unprofessional. Choose somewhere else.

I damaged my new truck tailgate. The damage required dent repair and a repaint of the tailgate. The damage was corrected completely and the paint match was perfect. Camarillo Auto body made the truck look new again. The estimate was spot on and the repair was delivered on time. Hopefully I won't need their service again but if needed I would not hesitate to return to them.

Good but had to wait for an extended period of time for parts. Not necessarily their fault for that but the communication could have been better. Other than that they were great!

CONCLUSION
I must commend the owner of Camarillo Autobody for fully rectifying the start of a bad experience and turning it into a positive learning experience.
The work performed and the finished product was all we could hope for. Thank you to Camarillo Autobody for an overall good experience. If we need autobody work in the future we will be back.

UPDATE!
The owner of Camarillo Autobody reached out to us. He was unaware of the mask situation and the poor customer service. He is now making every effort to make sure we are very kindly taken care of. Mask issue is now under control. Once work is complete I will edit the review.

Original post prior to owner contact;
I have never felt more unsafe and disrespected at any business than my visit today to Camarillo Autobody. My wife and I are both over 65, my wife just went through Chemotherapy and radiation. Not only were they not wearing masks in the small office, but when asked to do so, Robert the manager got downright rude to me. Needless to say we walked out and went elsewhere. If this was a sample of their service we would get then we were lucky we never started with them. Thanks to Camarillo Autobody for wasting our time and causing further agitation to an already rough day.

I will be updating this post in 10 days when all should be complete.

I personally want to thank Gary, the owner of Camarillo auto body, for doing such a superlative job in remedying my issues with his company. He did not try to rationalize or minimalize the bad behaviors that were on display when I visited the shop. To the contrary, he handled the mask problem immediately and with great authority. In addition my car was repaired quicker than expected I am very satisfied with his service. He went over and above to make me happy and I am happy to recommend him to anyone needing bodywork in the future. Thank you again Gary!

I never post reviews but had to for this. They repaired my car to make it look like the day I bought it. I was concerned that my car's unique paint would be difficult to match, but they took the time and effort to get what looks like an exact match. Couldn't be more satisfied, stop looking go to this shop!
