Camarillo Gun Store reviews
9 Best Gun Store.
Really though, lots of used/consign guns. Loads of new guns and friendly staff who love to talk and show off what they got. It gets busy on the weekends, parking is a bit tight, but you won’t get this level of service or inventory from Turners.
Fantastic customer service, big selection on pewpews. Also, if you need to get reloading components at the last minute, this is the place to go.
I did a PPT on a busy weekend and the staff was more than happy to put me in line to complete the transfer.
The new setup of the shop is a night and day difference from the old one. Staff is quick to greet and help you as soon as you walk in.
Their inventory is stocked up very well compared to other gun stores in the area, it’s nice to have a store that sells plenty of reloading consumables still.
Only reason I went with 4 stars is that one thing you’ll notice is they tend to stay very close to MSRP on a lot of their inventory especially optics. I think I saw a Trijicon SRO for like 700 something one time and that took me by surprise. Most online retailers are in the mid 500s.
All in all glad to have a shop like Camarillo gun store around still.
Unfortunately they are very pushy to have you come into the store and cant take 5 mins to explain a few differences between brands/ models. Not recommended
First time checking this place out. Quite a selection of gear and guns. Staff are also very helpful since I'm a first-time firearms owner gathering cleaning supplies and ammo.
First time I went In there was nice everyone said hi asked if I needed help the works, don’t know why people say bad things about the store or the owner, karlton is super cool and nice and gave me discounts on ammo here and there the pricing on the ammo sure is high but includes taxes people don’t understand ammo pricing is gonna go up first it was 5.56 then 9mm then 7.62x39 I bought thousands of rounds handgun and two rifles
I’ve been to many gun stores over the course of 45 plus years, and few (if any) are equivalent to Camarillo Gun Store. Every employee there is knowledgeable and professional. The new location is undeniably awesome. Their selection of rifles, handguns, and ammo is outstanding.and there’s tons of parking too! If you’re a first time buyer, you’ll have answers to all of your questions, expert guidance as to what fits your need (s), and absolutely no pressure, attitude or intimidation from anyone there. If you're a collector like me, you’ll feel right at home and will appreciate the awe-inspiring inventory they’ve got! I live very close to this other chain gun store (without name dropping, it rhymes with Burners) but insist on driving out to C. G. S.for whatever I want/need. It’s definitely well worth it.
Super easy experience if you have all your necessary paperwork. Can get a little busy, but everyone is always friendly and helpful.
