Cambria Cafe

Bring your own water. They do not "do" tap water. If you ask for water they will bring a $3 bottle and let you assume it's complimentary. To not provide complimentary water is seriously not cool hospitatlity wise.

Food is very good if a bit pricy. When it comes time to pay the electronic tip beg is annoying, seriously stop it with the damn tip creep already. 15% was generous enough and it already scales with the menu inflation so stop trying to shame customers into giving even more for the same thing. It's not just this place it's EVERY place!

Service was fine. It was late and I was the only customer so the radio was the only noise. I did like the real candle lights, a nice touch. Props to the later 9PM closing time. Cambria is a small town and most places close at 8PM. Plan accordingly.

The waiter was arrogant. Served us a very hot bottle of wine with a cork on it without using it in our glasses. Didn't offer us water. Left the restaurant to smoke outside during service. Unprofessional. The food was good, but the atmosphere ordinary.

Delicious chicken shawarma dish. Genuinely some of the best I've had. Thank you so much!

Nice lovely restaurant for Mediterranean meal. Menu have good variety of choices. Deserve to try it if you are staying in cambria. CA or passing by.

The falafel balls were dry and bland, sitting on strips of wilted lettuce, the hummus was a paltry portion, the pita was hard and the fragments of pickles seemed to come from the bottom of a jar. Didn’t help that the service was gruff. If I wanted bottled water, I would order bottled water. Shameful.

Welcome to the world of tasty food. Yummy it is. Dolmas was soft and delicious with aroma to wake your senses.

I tried Falafel and it was mixed can made not fresh and tasted awful and doughy.unbeatable … the Hummus was pretty bad …

The Beef cabab plate was delicious, very tender beef and everything in the plate was very good.

Food was good. The portion was small in relation to the price based on what I am used to but understandable because of the location. Thus, purchased two dishes and shared with family of four. Was not expecting to have to pay for water.

Quiet restaurant. Food is expensive but very tasty. House wines are reasonably priced. Service friendly and prompt.

This is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had outside of the Middle East. The atmosphere and vibe are also fantastic, and Rafael was a very gracious and kind host. We look forward to eating here every time we visit Cambria.

What a great new addition to the restaurant options available in Cambria. We all enjoyed our food, a lil pricey but every place is pricey in Cambria.beats having to cook! The birthday girl was served a slice of cake topped w honey and pistachios ~ on the house, that was very nice!

Great little spot for some excellent food and great service. Had the falafel and I believe the beef kabobs - both exceeded expectations and we're perfect.

Extremely good! Probably the best kebab I've ever had (we had the chicken). The rice? To die for. Got a complementary baba ganoush, delicious. Wish I hadn't been so full from lunch that I could've eaten an entire plate to myself.

Very good Mediterranean food restaurant. Good quality kabobs, falafel and hummus. Staff was very nice as well. The food is a little expensive but overall good quality.

Everything was authenticaly delicious. We specially loved the baba ganoush and garlic sauce.

Authentic Levantine arabic food

It’s pretty costly, but most food in Cambria is expensive due to how isolated it is. I grew up eating middle eastern cuisine and can attest that the quality and taste of this cafe are almost indistinguishable from classic home cooked dishes.
I got the falafel plate. No major complaints.
More pita slices would have been nice though, as well as a lemon slice and yogurt to make sandwiches. Falafel was slightly dense, but still hits the spot and seasoning is great. Try this place out, it may surprise you.

This is the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. This was our second visit, and it was as good as I remembered. Worth finding a parking place and walking. Baba ganouj. Try it!
