It’s been 3 years since our last visit, and that felt right. The market is lovely but doesn’t change enough to warrant a visit every year. Food isn’t cheap but it’s yummy - we had a bratwurst, mulled wine, hot meat pie, and desserts. Great spot to visit with kids or a date and make some memories.

For a small town, this is a BIG event! If Holiday Lights are for you this is a great walk thru. Even if you can’t get tickets visit the Cambria Nursery, you won’t be disappointed. Lights and many holiday offerings. You will feel like a little kid again.

Lights were neat. Staff inside the event were friendly and easy to talk to. I liked the restaurant as well. However, breakfast was really bad, like low-quality cafeteria food. Also some staff I encountered working the roads outside were slightly rude and condescending for no reason.

Way to many people not enjoyable. Lots of lights but not necessarily a traditional Christmas atmosphere.

They have an incredible organization, it’s amazing how it all works out. I didn’t try the food, I thought it was a bit pricey. Having just been in some of the best themed parks in Orlando, this looks dated but fun. The set up is fun and original, good for a couples with kids. Lights are great, but people don’t have much to do.

This place was amazing. I would rate it above the Paso Robles light display. Beautiful displays with an insane amount of lights. Also interesting was displays made out of a mix of lights and rope lights. One huge warning is that this place is large and sloped. You will walk a great deal up and down a slight hill. The Christmas market was nice but overcrowded. Also, if you do not have VIP parking, i would highly advise getting to the free lots at 5pm. The lines for the busses were crazy long later, and the facility gets pretty crowded also. The event and the VIP parking WILL sell out ahead of time, so do not procrastinate:)

It was a great time here. However, I would like to see a loop if possible. Getting to the nursery and back was like swimming against the current. Maybe golf carts to move people back to a different part or make some walking traffic lines near that section of the lights? I'm not sure how it would work. With that said, the foot traffic does get much better later in the night. The lights are fantastic, and you can see they do go through a great effort to make this pretty awesome. The food is a little expensive, but expected. Overall, this is one of the best Christmas lights setups I've seen, if not the best. (Fresnos Christmas Tree Lane is very cool, but a drive-through outside of two designated days) I'm actually surprised that there isn't a paid photographer section (outside of photo spots and a booth). I might just look into doing that next year!

Bought tickets, drove an hour to one of the shuttles which wasn’t available, zero parking so just went home. Waste of time.

Amazing lights with some fun shopping booths.
If you are going for food eat as soon as they open as stuff sells out fast. One place had nothing left after 90 min.

This year was me and my wife's first time attending. LOVED IT! Beautiful lights.
Tons of photo opportunities; which are great for Christmas card photo. Alot of food booths, if your hungry or simply want a snack. Alot of vendors selling pictures, hats, gloves, ornaments, foods, much much more.
If I remember correctly, there's over 1 million lights.

Our favorite Christmas lights event yet! So magical
I wasn't a fan of the hot cocoa but the giant homemade cookies and the bread pudding were exquisite
All the booths and everything inside is pretty pricey so come prepared to spend some $$.
Save up and try the food and treats!:)
The only activity that cost extra was the $5 train ride but it's worth it:)
So many photo ops all over! But too many people in the way to get good shots. The last hour was the best because not many people there.
The musician was fantastic.
A lot of walking so bring comfortable footwear. Weather was slightly cold.
Thanks for the free shuttles.
Such a fun time!

The event is awesome. The lights are great. We stay on site to not have to deal with the busses and lines. FOOD tho, we need more FOOD options, cambria is tough to find late food as it is but to have some more dinner options than a bratwurst and one pizza place with a line around the block would be awesome

Great job to the crew who put this on. Drinks were on point and you could tell a lot of work was put into this. If you live close by, definitely worth it. Be prepared for almost 2 hours of walking.

My wife grabbed tickets ($35/each for the four of us) to attend this Christmas Market (11/25/23) during our stay in Cambria. I was skeptical when she said we'd have to take a bus to get there and park somewhere in town. Well, we got in line at main street west at about 4: 30 and made the second little bus of 25. There were easily 100 people in line for the 5: 30pm start. We arrived and they made us wait on the bus for other busses to empty. There were a good 200-300 people in line for the ticket booth (remember, we already bought tickets). There were massive tour-style buses that seemed to have brought people from Morro, SLO and other major towns. We got into the "Market" and were starving, and hit the Biergarten first - the wood fired pizza was legit, as was the authentic Bitburger beer (the Budweiser of Germany) and the Gluwine (spelling). We then hit the upper market area - Linn's Fruit Bin (crazy line), and many other Cambria stores had little "sheds" set up for business. Pricing was pretty high for everything we saw.we only bought one thing here the entire night. The lights were pretty spectacular though as well as the little "scenes" of supposed German folklore. The lights went on for a while and it dumped us out toward the Nursery, which was also part of the event. We walked through a massive Christmas themed store (with airport prices on everything) and had to actually make a U turn to get back to the market area. The 4' wide pathway proved to be challenging, just like the 101 freeway during rush hour in Santa Barbara. We made it back and wanted something sweet - and ended up with these "fresh" cinnamon rolls. First - cash is not accepted here (that was a bummer for $10 rolls x 2) and they were honestly disgusting - I had 2 bites of mine as did my daughter. Terrible weird fake butter taste and the icing was anything but sweet. We hopped into line to get the bus back at 7: 30, as we were told by the bus driver that lines at the end of the night would be horrendous. To sum it up: Pros - Lights, Pizza, Beer. Cons: Crowds of People (I'd estimate 10-15K people there that night), Price, slightly disorganized, terrible cinnamon rolls. Averages out to 3 stars. We spent $249 between tickets, pizza, couple of drinks, cinnamon rolls and a $25 tree ornament.

Immerse yourself and your loved ones in a nonstop sea of color. Everywhere you look is something new. We start at the nursery and work our way up the hill. It is a very slight incline easily done even with a wheelchair. The entire trip was covered in lights. There were crowds but unlike others these days, everyone was peaceful and courteous. Even the security guards went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. At the top, you will find the marketplace and the food vendors. The train up at the top provides another light display that is only seen on the train. Bundle up and enjoy.

I must say that our experience at the Cambria Christmas Market was AWESOME! There are millions of lights, plenty of food vendors, gifts, and decorations all in this one location. Everyone will most certainly enjoy it as much as we did. Five stars ️️️️️

Staffs are so kind and everything is absolutely perfect! I brought my little poodle in the stroller, I could go every where with my dog. If you are a tourist who are taking a dog, I strongly recommend this place to visit this place.

Shuttle and parking staff is very rude, only 1 kind pakring staff that actually helped us find our way.no one forces anyone to work there but it sure seems like it. Felt bad for a couple that got their stroller thrown on to the back of the shuttle and then seemed like they almost couldnt recover it with out trouble frok the driver. First and last time I'd go.the only good thing was the vintage section of the gift shop super cute stuff for good prices.
