Issue after issue with promises of resolution from the leasing office and no change. A strict parking policy is threatened but never enforced, to the point where we have a person who doesn't live here sleeping in their car in front of our apartment nightly. "Courtesy patrol" won't pick up the phone most of the time, and if they do actually pick up, nobody ever shows up to fix the problem. Over-watering in the green areas has led to puddles that never dry leaving us with hundreds of mosquitos. Pet waste litters the ground because the bags are rarely refilled and the dog park is in disarray. Maintenance performs superficial "fixes" but can't replace severely outdated appliances like our fridge that doesn't seal or oven with no insulation that can burn you from touching the outside. This place is marketed (and priced) as "luxury apartments" but blatant heath and safety issues, false promises from management, and profit maximization tactics make this complex fall short.

Keep raising the rent and threatening to tow cars constantly it’s not worth living here they raise the rent by the legal maximum every year

They allow ten guests at the complex per day so if you want guests you’re going to have to plan for the possibility they won’t be able to come or basically pick up anyone that wants to come to the apartment

you are following the market trend that is slowly killing everyone more young adults live with their parents than they did during the Great Depression and now a one bedroom apartment is out of reach for most young adults at prices ranging from 2400 and onward. The one “product” that all people need and now it’s been rising for so long that there isn’t enough opportunities for people to live on their own

It’s disgusting how much money you are extracting from us and then policing the lot checking our registration to find an opportunity to make more money

Walking in every few months to take pictures of every room

Not willing to fix the windows in the master bedrooms that don’t even seal so there is too much sound to sleep and the room is never adequately temperature controlled by the air conditioning unit. Which also by design does not push enough air to the bedroom because the airflow

I never felt like I was treated as anything but a visitor in my own “home”

Thank you for taking care of our need, Big thanks to Veronica Garcia for attending to everyone’s needs she gets involved in the community and try’s to help as much she can she’s been a hard worker ever since I first moved in years ago. I hope that the complex keeps it up in the years coming.

My daughter lives here and I feel so safe knowing my daughter is in a safe complex ️ not only that it's so easy for me to walk in and get a guest pass and I can park right next to her apartment!

Camino Real Apartments provide a beautiful, safe, and clean place for my family. I would love to see more monthly activities in the office for tenants such as coffee, donuts, game night etc. I am a tenant who causes absolutely no trouble expect for the fact that I complain about the absurd parking regulations here. I pay over 2k per month to live here and I can not have a visitor over because by the time I am home from work all of the allotted 10 visitor parking passes (for the entire complex) are gone. How is this even fair? How does this make sense? Iys a huge inconvenience for me, my family, and my guests (if I can ever have any). If the parking policies change this would be a 5 star location.

I have lived here for 2 years. I just had a friend come in from out of town to stay with me for a couple days. I asked the office for a parking permit for the duration of her stay. They said they were only able to give out daily parking passes and I would have to come in everyday to get one during business hours which are 9-6. I start work before they open, but was able to make it in by 6, which is their posted closing time, every day after work to grab one. Today my son had a dr appt after work and I arrived to the office at 5: 45. Door was locked and no one answered the phone when I called. My friends car was towed and we were charged 457.50. Ridiculous. Every other apartment or condo complex, or hotel I know of have an after hours or emergency number you can call in a visitor to. What if someone had an emergency and had to come stay at my house after business hours? They would be towed? That’s insane. I pay rent every month and shouldn’t be charged an additional 500 bucks to have a visitor because they can’t figure out a better system or honor their posted operating hours. Don’t rent from here if you want to be able to have friends or family visit for free.

Please ignore the multiple 1 stars from the pool issue this past summer. The office sent multiple emails to the tenants of what was going on with the pool and the clean up and kept us constantly updated. Office management is great and maintenance has always fixed issues within 24 hours. The area is family oriented, quiet, with plenty of amenities. I just signed for my second year here. It’s also 2 minutes from food and Victoria Gardens for shopping.

I have lived here for 5 years. Had 0 complaints. There is One bad grape in this bunch who needs to be tossed. The leasing staff is helpful. The Assistant Manager has the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I would never make my residents feel like they are a nuisance. We (I am a community manager) are there to assist our residents to serve as customer service. If I burden you, this isn’t the job for you.

First time resident here previously coming from Newport Beach, and I must say, this has been the best place I've lived at in the past 4 years of living from apartment to apartment.

***I don't know what the commotion is about with all of the 1-star reviews, but I'm assuming it's by quite a few entitled people who aren't grateful with what they have here at Camino Real.
- Pools do get dirty, yes.
- This is a Permit-Only Complex which will get your car towed if you aren't abiding by the rules or haven't made any attempt to communicate with the office. (Being Permit-Only gives for a cozier room of parking for residents, which is a definite +1.)

PROS:
First off, everyone is much friendlier in Rancho Cucamonga compared to Newport. Here at the apartments, the management, staff, and maintenance team have treated us with care and respect. It is now my third month here and the complex is very well-maintained/clean. Maintenance has been on top of everything in regards to our own apartment (normally within the same day of sending request by email). Parking is not a hassle, whether it be early mornings or late evenings due to the permit-only rule. Community is friendly (so far) as well. Everyone here normally keeps to themselves (an introvert's dream), but has the courtesy to say "hi's" and "good morning's".

CONS:
Pretty minimal cons- a raceway speed track is nearby (2-3 streets down) and has a scheduled run of cars on Sunday mornings which is by no means "too" disruptive (just close your windows and you won't hear the noise). Community has a few bad apples in the bunch (but, what apartment complex doesn't?).

Overall, so far, we love it here.

The best advice I can give anyone who is interesting in becoming a tenant here, run as far away as possible. Management team here is a joke and they can careless about the tenants. Management has changed numerous times since I’ve been a tenant here which is 3+ years. All they care about is getting their money and could careless about taking care of the tenants. The maintenance team has some good people which is where the 1 star comes. And please management hold your response. Because let’s be honest I don’t care what you have to say just like you don’t care about any of us tenants. “best regards”

Not sure why the pool is so green? Are they getting ready for St Paddy day already? I sure do miss swimming and seeing neighbors enjoy a nice dip in the pool. Unfortunately the property doesn’t not care if the pool is green or if our air doesn’t blow good in the master bedroom what a shame.

I’ve lived here just about a year now and never in my life have I seen such awful pool conditions. I walk my cat everyday and the pool has been noticeably greener each day, it’s been a week and it’s STILL green. So green I’m afraid an ogre might show up and claim it as his swamp. NO my photo is not edited it’s just that GREEN!

I don’t know what’s going on with the pool. It’s disgusting and a mosquito swamp now. Please get this fixed it’s hot and families want to go swimming very disappointed in this place.

I am absolutely disgusted at the condition that the management company is keeping the pool in. If you want to keep residents out, send a notice, lock the gates up and put a sign, but don't allow it to turn into a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other critters. Is the amount of rent paid not covering clean up? It mirrors Lake Michigan on St. Patrick's day, only there's no festivities here. Just sadness and utter disgust at the lack of consideration for our community.
