2This is an extremely difficult drive for those with only the tough vehicles with the best suspensions and/or 4wd. (I call it the road of A MILLION patches). It is BUMPY, curvy, and there are very few, if any guard rails. And there are 200+ foot straight down cliffs just a few feet away from ur vehicle. After a short walk to the bridge, which has 3 flights down, a ways across and then another 3 flights up, then just a football field length to a rock path down to the water where the most gorgeous pool of nice, crisp, cold water awaits. Unfortunately, there was a posted sign warning of "harmful algae" in the water that u can't allow ur kids or pets to drink. Also, unfortunate, no rock collecting is allowed. But still, VERY private & absolutely beautiful place to enjoy California waters
Beautiful spot. Never crowded and plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of different rocks and Cliffs of different heights for different levels of thrill-seekers jumping into the cool but not cold water. Fairly easy hike which I only consider a short walk of less than half a mile mostly flat ground. My kids and I love it here
