Camp Bob Waldorf reviews
8Camp Bob Waldorf has played an instrumental role in all 3 of my kids lives. My oldest child now 17 started attending the camp 10 years ago each summer back when it was still called Max Strauss. My Children attend the non-Jewish sessions that are 10 days long. I cannot comment on the quality of the Jewish session, other than the same staff are at all the sessions offered. We have attended other camps, but by far this is everyone’s favorite. The camp is very well organized and structured with daily activities and downtime. Don’t send your kids here if they want to just hangout doing their own thing. The camp grounds are well maintained with air conditioned cabins. The nurse and staff are on top of health checks, even through the pandemic they took great precautions to keep all the kids and staff safe. The camp is fully decked out with a swimming pool, animals, hiking, cooking, climbing walls etc. Gaga ball.my kids have always enjoyed their counselors and the other staff. When I pick them up they are in tears not wanting to leave. CBW have excellent responses to conflicts between campers and inclusivity training of the staff. My kids have never nit once had a bullying issue at CBW. As a plus, My kids have made friends with kids from all over the city and kept in touch with them because of their time together at CBW. The only improvement I can recommend would be the food. The kids say it’s pretty terrible. My oldest is a CIT (counselor in training) and even after this last summer 23’ he plans to return as a counselor because he loves the camp so much. If I could give 10 stars I would. We love CBW!
Best camp ever! My daughter had the best time in 10 days summer camp. Great counslers. Lots of fun things to do, games, horse riding, songs, just lots of overall fun times!
Camp has great communication with parents. Alba and Sofia are super nice and helpful. We will come back next year! Thank you so much ️

Our daughter loves loves loves this camp and so do we.such a great safe experience! Weekend getaways are awesome!
Great camp for kids! Overnight summer camp, archery, pool, rock wall, ropes course, green house, fire pits, cabins, horse back riding etc. Went here when I was a kid and loved it. Associated with the Jewish Big Brother program. I mentor a boy (my little brother) who now goes to camp and has been at least six times and loves it. Just the best!
It was amazing the people are so friendly. Shoutout to my counselors Felicity, Alex, and Connie. Y'all made the days so fun and we do nice to hangout with.
Went here in 1983. Never forgot the wonderful time I had here.
So many milestones that shaped my life.
Never forgot the adventure and wondrous things I experienced at the camp.
Wonderful staff and caring counselors.
I learned so much. Thank you JBB for helping make me a decent person.
This Camp is beautiful, filled with open space to explore and relax. It is also nestled into a quiet space in the hills, yet a short walk will get you to shops, restraunts, buses, and grocery stores!
