Camp Canine reviews
7Day Care, over night, grooming, healthy food and dog supplies at the longest running doggie daycare in Santa Barbara. Staffed by experienced dog lovers, your furry friend will be sagely cared for and leave happy. My 2 year old big dog loves going to Camp Canine!
The native wore headdress on the dog as a mascot is super unprofessional, other people from the native community would agree, I understand it may look cool but it’s still cultural appropriation
The best place to take your cherished puppies for day care in Santa Barbara.
I had a highly disappointing experience at Camp Canine in Santa Barbara. The incompetence and lack of accountability displayed by the front desk staff and spa personnel left me feeling frustrated and deeply concerned for my dog.
After several instances of miscommunication between the front desk staff and customers, and internally between the staff and spa, I will not be bringing my dog back.
I dropped my dog off at the spa to get groomed and told the front desk to make sure the spa trims his facial hair. Upon picking him up, I noticed that they had cut off ALL of his whiskers! Whiskers are essential for dogs as they use them to navigate and understand their surroundings. Any responsible and knowledgeable dog caretaker should understand this basic fact and avoid such negligent actions. The side-by-side photo shows a before and after picture taken two days apart. The overall grooming was super uneven, with some spots going all the way down to his skin.
Moreover, hearing about other horror stories from my friends about dogs coming home severely dehydrated after their stay at Camp Canine raises serious concerns about the establishment's lack of proper care and regulation.
Camp Canine is the best place for your dog. The staff loves animals. The camp is fun and always clean. My dogs are always calm and happy when I pick them up from Camp whether it’s been for the day or several weeks.
I was visiting Santa Barbara and they took good care of my small dog while I did some sightseeing. Friendly staff, nice facility. Recommended!
