As much as I appreciate the surgery this clinic did for my cat, it is difficult to call them back at all. The call center lady I spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful. She abruptly hung up on me. All I got was a voicemail rather than a text or call and I had trouble tracing back the number. I'm appalled at the inability to reach back to this clinic.

I'm so glad places like this are around since the private vets are so much $$. I spent $89 dollars on bloodwork for my cat, Leo, which it was optional but the surgery itself was free since they accepted a voucher. I just wish they had had chairs to sit in while we were waiting in line to go in since I have back issues. They have a nice sitting area but it was raining the day I went However, that's just a suggestion, not a complaint.

Initially I had an issue trying to get CAMP to return my calls and emails. However everything went smoothly and the staff took great care of morris my cat. Thank you for your services

I made an appointment, it wasn't until Oct because they are pretty booked. But they called me 2days after booking because they had a cancellation. The staff was very nice and great with my very excitable pup. It's been 10 days and he's doing great. Highly recommend this place. Great prices, it's even affordable at the non low income price.

The staff here was so helpful in guiding and assisting us with an abandoned kitten we found. Their staff, and the staff of the K9 rescue next door, were very understanding and did everything they could to help us. We have immense gratitude for them!

They made it quick
and simple. Bring y our pet (and even a pay stub) if you think you qualify as low Income! Therefore you will get a discount.

I took 4 feral kitten's in for their first set of shots. It was inexpensive, fast, and not a lot of paperwork. The staff is very nice.

While this place has good prices for their services. Most of the staff are not so kind and act like if we are asking for free services or like if they are paying out of their own pocket. Some lack compassion.

Despite saying that they are a non-profit clinic, and according to the reviews they have a low price, that was not my experience. I took my dog for an injection because she suffers from seasonal allergies. The cost of the injection is $88 when in a private clinic in Northridge I used to pay $75. I decided to change because I am low-income and I thought it would be a favorable option in view of the fact that it is a recurring condition. When examining his ear, the vet assured that he had a fox tail in his ear and that it is very painful and probably that's why my dog scratches her ears a lot. The procedure includes anesthesia. I decided to proceed with the extraction of the fox tail. When I arrived for my dog it turns out that they didn't find anything and they probably mistreated her (not on purpose) with the procedure because now I had to buy some drops and antibiotic for $85. (By the way, they asked if I wanted to have his teeth cleaned to take advantage of the anesthesia whose cost is more than $900). Now I have my dog scratching because of the allergy and I have no more budget to pay because I spent it in a condition that she never had. I consider the prices equal to or higher than a private clinic. Very disappointing!

Staff is very nice and helpful. They treated our pets very gentle and alert in what it was needed. My dog needed to have some antibiotics and some shots. All was very affordable. Thank you.

No other place I go to Rescue an animal or the veterinary clinic on the site it was great too

So far I’ve had good experiences here at the Mission Hills location and South LA location minus late start to appts and medical record access.

I’ve tried out a few vets and kept the old invoices. Comparing CAMP with other places, CAMP is def more affordable.

Today my cat had a tooth extraction and cleaning. This place does seems a little unorganized / busy. My appt was at 830a but I don’t think my cat was taken in until 9a or so, which also was the case for other appts here and at South LA location.

After the dental cleaning they were supposed to call around 2-3p but I never got a call. However, since they close at 4p, around 3p we decided to go in anyway to pick him up. He was ready and we got him promptly.

Staff and doctors are friendly and so far there have been no issues unless you count the late start to appts (but i have never waited longer than 30 min).

They also don’t seem to share files bw both locations so when I went to the South La for the wellness check/bloodwork, I assumed Mission Hills would have access to all his files but they didn’t.so I had to fwd the electronic copies that i received in my email to them, including the estimate I was given for the procedure (do they have diff pricing depending on location?)

while my husband was annoyed at the tardiness, given how less expensive it is compared to other vets, I can sacrifice some time for less expensive bills.

So when you make your appt online, be prepared to wait 20-30 min to be seen.

Otherwise it’s been a good experience!

Went for shots and nail trimming. Nice people, easy paperwork and we got out fast. Highly recommend

Good service for low income senior pet owners. However, they are not very good at returning phone calls or emails when it comes to changing appointments. If you are unable to make your appointment, send a email to create documentation. This will prevent you from losing your 35 dollar reservation fee.
