3Friendly rangers staff the office, can provide info about camping spots in the park.
Very Poor Service. I had one task to perform at this office - buy a senior parks pass. The first time I went there they said that the person that could help me was not there; but if I returned at 4 pm, then he would help me then. I returned at 4 pm, and the person blatantly refused to let me purchase a pass. He told me that I had to drive to one of the park entrances. I told him that I did not have a car because I had arrived via Amtrak, and he just laughed and basically told me to go to hell. Not a pleasant experience coming from a park "ranger".
The rangers there are super helpful and friendly! They were able to answer all of our questions about the walk-in campsite options and had a positive attitude overall.
