We got there 2 minutes after they closed and they were so helpful. A young man named Shane opened up and helped us buy the generator that we wanted no complaints super big smile how accommodating I couldn't believe it I recommend this place to anybody

I was in yesterday to close a deal. We walked in and were greeted by Melissa. Everything was good for a good 2 minutes. They offered a drink and got seated on one of their tables. So far so good.
Melissa came back after she had went to talk to the finance rep. She ask if we had the $15,000 cash down payment and we said yes, she then said do you have the insurance for the motor home? Which I replied yes I have Allstate and will be adding it with them since it will be insured for 30 days starting from the contract date. She left and the finance gentleman came back with her and didn’t even introduce himself. Just said that Allstate gives the wrong information on RV’s and they do not insure Rv’s. He then mentioned that we needed to have the RV’s insurance with us that day as the RV can not be driven without ins.

At this point I started feeling a little awkward. I told the finance rep. Why are we discussing the insurance and down payment without even going over the breakdown of the loan, fees, APR etc.

At that point I felt discriminated, why are we not sitting down inside the financial office and just the whole treatment felt like we are making a curbside order pickup! Give us the down payment and insurance to a vehicle we do not even have a vin# to insure? A down payment to what loan? Who is the finance company and what is the rate of the interest?
Melissa and her finance representative were running around like chickens without a head! No communication between them and simply no answers to our questions!
Finally after this whole 20 minute fiasco, we got up and left! As we were walking out the finance rep came after us to tell us the APR. Really is this how you do business in this place? Sorry but this was a serious purchase of over $75,000 that you just lost!

** update*** 8/4
I received a response. Laughable as they want me to contact them again. When have they contacted me in the past?

- I really dislike giving bad reviews. I also don’t give poor reviews unless the company is deserving, and try to find some shining point in my visit. Sadly, there are no shining moments. But camping world and good Sam are very deserving of a poor review. I would not have given any stars.
Save your money and go elsewhere! Don’t support businesses that don’t care about their customers.
My parents introduced me to camping world 20 years ago, and they didn’t even own an RV!
What brought them and me in time and time again? The games, the gadgets and the wonderful staff. Everything we purchased was good quality and good value for the money.

Then Marcus Lemonis bought it and it’s not even a shadow of what it was.
I’ve been a member of Good Sam for many years, but I WILL NOT RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP! Marcus LEMON is what this place should be called now.
I brought my camper in to have it repaired, and I had to go back 3 times and the issue has a bandaid on it. I was asked to come back next week so they can order parts for it and was told it MIGHT solve the issue, but no guarantee.
Seriously? Might?
And instead I was charged over $700.00 for an issue that still isn’t resolved.
Most of those charges are labor charges. My auto mechanic is expensive, but at least I know he can solve the issue.

Everything is over priced and is junk now!
I bought a surge protector and it broke after a few uses.
The store is an oversized furniture store which has a VERY SMALL SECTION of everyday items people use in their rvs.
I used to spend an hour or more in the store when it had games, fun lights and camping equipment.
It was a gadget’s paradise! No more…
The very fact that the issues on my rv were not resolved, and I have to go back yet again! How much are they going to charge me? It will be another $300.00- $200.00 for labor!
If you want an honest rv mechanic, and a place that wants your business Instead of just your money, go to OCRV in Yorba Linda.
They guarantee their work.

A few more points about camping world is I was promised a $30.00 gift certificate for renewing my membership with good Sam. California state passed a law that gift certificates are not allowed to have an expiration date. I was told that because I was a member, if I was unhappy at anytime with my membership or issues, to bring it to Marcus Lemon’s issue.
I got one response and then nothing. Pure crickets.
Where is the customer service? Where is the satisfaction in being a member?
They used to have knowledgeable staff inside the store that would make recommendations on what to purchase for both inside and outside of the rv. Now, most of the people know nothing about RV’s. There is nothing useful in the store.

I ordered a new couch for my rv, and twice, after they installed it in my coach, it was damaged! Why wasn’t I told the couch was damaged? I went back 3 times after I was told the couch had arrived. Made an appointment and arrived at the scheduled time, then found out the couch never arrived.
I should have been reimbursed for the gasoline it took to get there, or perhaps a discount?
I sent numerous emails to customer service and all were ignored.
I don’t know about you, but I won’t support a business that cares about dollars instead of repeat customers.

Hey Marcus: there are a limited number of rv owners. There is an UNLIMITED number of repeat customers that you have lost.
I will not be coming back and buying their garbage anymore.

They haven’t even responded to any of my reviews either!
Save your money and ask your friends for recommendations of other Rv repair and good stores.

Purchased a new refrigerator after our 30 year old fridge cease working. The manager at the parts was very helpful and super nice.
There are not a lot of options out there to purchase RV stuff so, we appreciate the good service we received today at Ventura Camping World.

Make sure you don't pay above MSRP here. Shop around (even other state), you'll get a better deal. If you do get a loan through them, ask them to write down what your payments will be, what your interest payment is and what your principal is. They will try to get you anyway they can. Good luck out there! They're sharks.

Never again. If you need RV repair service. It's best to get it from the Agua Dulce location at 17528 Sierra Hwy, Mobile and RV Repairs.
We checked in our trailer in March 2023 and we just barely picked it up now, July 2023. We were trying to get manufacturer's warranty correction done, to no avail. We bought a brand new RV in Texas (2022) and took it to CA to use it for jobsites. We didn't get that far. Finally, I had it, "great, gotta call an outside service to replace the front window and that's going to take us into 6 months".
After my complaint, they were able to get the 3rd party window service to Camping World, right away. We picked up our trailer to encountered other issues, not sure if that was because it was parked at another storage yard. New, y'all, this is a new trailer from a different dealership to fall in the hands of Camping World. We didn't bother with anything else. We decided to take it to Sierra Hwy, who cares if I need to pay for repairs that should be covered under warranty. Just, who cares. I'd rather pay the service on Sierra Hwy because I'll get it back the same day or so. He's fast and he normally does not store.

We bought a brand new 5th wheel January 2022 as we did the walk through of the unit we found quite a few issues, camping world assured me they would have my parts in a few weeks and they would get everything installed and we would be off on our way! Well here we are 20 months later with no outcome in-site, my manufactures warranty ran out before we even got to use the coach, and when they finally got back to me month 17 stating they had the parts I dropped off my unit and here we are month 20 with the same run around. I would never recommend camping world to my worst enemy. I have sent emails out text messages out and the same oh same oh still with no outcome in site. I would not even step foot back in any of there facilities as long as I live if I can tell all of you out there do your homework before you shop at any camping world.

Had a ok experiance. I understand why but I do enjoy walking around looking at campers without a sales person.

But had a good experience and would recommend for all your camping

Unable to get help after purchase, very difficult to work with. Repair was apparently done but wasn’t. Grant said if I had attitude he was going to hang up.

Terrible service! They acted annoyed and basically told us they didn’t have what we were looking for. Definitely not getting my business

Nice RV dealership, very freindly and helpful staff, great parking, nice accessories store, clean shop, easy to get to location off of I-5, plenty of places close by for fuel and eating, was only there to transport a trailer so I can not comment on sales portion so that is why I gave it 4 stars,

For actual retail, as in rv accessories/parts I give it a three. This is because it was very small and limited selection
However overall 4 stars. There is an attendant at the LPG station. There is also a dump station for both grey water and black water.

Customer service was great and speedy.

When I first brought in my lance travel trailer to be sold, I had a good experience. Orla was great! I then had some communication issues, but that was resolved. All in all, so far so good.

I agree with others who complain about the customer service. I arrived to fill up a 20lb propane tank. Although I was holding my money to pay in my hand, after filing my tank, the individual who filled it, who had zero personality and never said hello or smiled once, said he needed my phone number in order to pay. I said I just want to pay and leave. He said I had to give him a phone number and began arguing with me. I had to walk into the front office to pay. I asked the cashier if could speak with the manager. He did not know if a manager was present. He did not find out if one was present and did not call anyone over. I just paid and left. This place has an obvious management problem. Never gong back and will share my experience with everyone.

I purchased my trailer at camping world because I liked Lucia. She was very professional and thorough. She’s was great! The service department did a good job prepping my trailer. And they are currently helping me fix a problem that I’m having with my refrigerator. I good place to buy a camper. Ask for Lucia!

Kyle Fligg made the purchase of our 2022 Happier Camper quick & painless, with friendly personal service - even taking my calls on Easter and on his days off to ensure we got what we needed. No pressure to purchase at all. Thanks!
