Campton Place Bar and Bistro

Delicious food and drinks in a nice space in the Taj Campton hotel. Ordered cocktails (spicy marg was great and spicy, and the Moscow mule was good), fries and the paneer makhani, which was delicious. The waiter was helpful and very friendly.

Outstanding, refined curry and superb service. Small but interesting wine selection.

I have been crazy about this bar from the day it opened. One of the worst things about the pandemic with not being able to pop in for lunch. There’s so few places in Union Square and this is always been at the top of the list but even more so now. Best burger! Martini also excellent. Really you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu

Had Dinner here on New Year's. Great Ambience and delicious food. There were vegetarian options available. It lacked variety of food, but service was great and it was a peaceful setting that was sufficiently quiet, except for some chatter at the bar.

I sat at the bar for lunch. Bartender was prompt, knew his wines and kept on top of my water (pet peeve of mine, when missed). They have caviar service (reasonably priced) and a complete but simple lunch menu.

I had the chicken club and it was perfect! Not overdressed, large slices of chicken breast, perfectly boiled eggs.and crip vegetables (lettuce and tomatoes). Side salad was a good size, but not overwhelming.

I'm coming back tomorrow for the caviar!
